Actually not really standard, if unlucky like me, can kena chop .... first biscuit shop i saw in Asakusa from subway was very traditional and nicely decorated, staff at back was making fresh biscuits too... front of shop was old man. I asked for best seller and bought 1 packet for 1300 yen !

When further into asakusa, turned out people selling similar looking ones at 1/3 the price !!

Probably standard price is the nicely prepacked commercial looking ones, careful only the traditional simple packed ones.

Your accomodation is cheap RM160/night and meals RM100 / day.  rclxms.gif

You mean that red been paste small cake like our Kuih Baulu wth redbeen inti or Taiyaki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taiyaki ? - Yeah I got the cheaper wan in one of the stalls in Asakusa..Saw the crowd & the shouting and just bought 2 dozen (2 packs) and only cost ~ 500 yen for 2 dozen if I still can recall..

Yeah, I din know it was so famous kuih in Tokyo till I came back here. blush.gif and was like wow at the price displayed at the 1st shop near the MRT stn.. laugh.gif

After reading a few pages back, i am also eyeing the banana pie..cheaper after clearing the immgration..

One thing, is there a counter to return PASMA/SUICA at international terminal haneda?
*
SUICA, you can return at the last monorail stn in Haneda But for PASMO, you have to change at the Daimon MRT stn operated by other than JR Rail lines. There are so many private MRTs operators in Tokyo and those none JR Rail formed to use PASMO and JR Rail - SUICA. Although you can use both in all diff lines but to get refund SUICA= JR Rail stns & PASMO= Other than JR Rails

That's how complicated Tokyo metro system works.. Too many operators. And watch out - Due to this fact, changing subway lines in the same stn, U need to walk-out and touch again to a new lines station.. just like our Putra & Star LRT years ago before they decided to integrate all in one..

winter outfit price in malaysia is ridiculous..
*
Not really cheap as well in Japan..well slightly cheaper probably for eg.. Uniqlo winter wear..it's almost same price of slightly cheaper over in Japan..except sometime they have ridicolous 50% sales there haha.

If no branded winter wears & boots...You probably can get cheaper price from those displayed in small shops & flea markets..For branded..not really cheap.

Cheapest winter wear boots & none branded wears I saw were in China & Korea...In Korea.. you can get a no branded winter boot for RM10 per pair haha..Not in Japan..

Agreed on the varieties & designs.. but on pricing & sales...Uniqlo everywhere also almost similar pricing..sometime, during sales, you can even get cheaper in KL.. I learnt the lesson recently and also shopping at Uniqlo, Tokyo..Found out after discount, certain Uniqlo clothings can be much cheaper here rather than Tokyo but less varieties..

Last mth ..I mean just last week, Uniqlo down jacket wth hoodie..Normally ~ RM330 selling for RM199 nia. I bought the same down without the hoodie also RM199 (Normal RM259) in Nov..damn..should hv wait abit longer
Even uniglos Shanghai selling the same down jacket for RMB599 sumore after discount. That's RM280! and we can get here in KL for RM199!

Guys, i'm in tokyo now. Where to buy "i love japan" tshirt? How much roughly?
*
Harajuku oriental bazaar for me is the cheapest but Abit thin. 900yen there. Elsewhere, can get cheap inside one of many souvenir cum electronics shops in akihabara. But -1200yen. Otherwise asakusa but very pricey there.

wao .. finally found a great forum that can help me ..

i going to tokyo,japan at April . .

i was so confusing and not real free to do the visa

so anyone can give some tip or can recommend some agent .
*
Check 1st pg 1st on the SOP. For agent, any agent will do just pay the runner fee. If you are in Puchong, try Mayflower beside IOI Mall, Runner fee=RM30 per passport. The VISA is free. but too many document to submit as per pg 1

and i cant found any agents for apply japan visa ..

any contact or link can share ?
*
Where is your location? There are lotsa travel agencies in any towns & cities in M'sia.. Don;t tell me you can't find any? There sure to be Reliance, Mayflower, Apple, PYO & etc everywhere.. even in Puchong, I last count ~ 7-8 travel agencies..here biggrin.gif ..Just shop around and ask for pricing.. In Puchong, I have checked ~ 6 of them and Mayflower (Beside IOI mall) & Keris travel (Inside IOI Mall) are the cheapest.. Others charging ~ RM40 to RM60 runner fees.

I'm sure you can find other travel agencies around your city or town hmm.gif ...
