I also looking for sharp. Cause lg no 60". While the 65" abit outdated design. And over budget.

ya,at the moment i think only Sharp LC60LE835X still most affordable 60"....i actually saw a LG 60" plasma at RM4499 too,but quite old model and hardly find reviews online too

I find sharp picture quality is not bad.

Another is Sony 60nx720. But no more selling when ask around. The picture quality is not bad.

55LM6700 definitely not going below RM5K yet as it's just few hundred cheaper than 55LM7600 currently. When I saw the 55LM7600 price tag RM6999 at Desa Low Yat, the 55LM6700 price tag there was RM6499..

Your 55LM6700 price tag RM6499, can get the 55LM7600 model. In KL.

It's just that I never nego the price and the price different between the 55LM7600 and 55LM6700 shouldn't be more than RM1000(based on price tag at Desa Home Theater at Low Yat Plaza). So, based on my calculation(if it's correct) then the price for the 55KM6700 shouldn't below 5K yet..

It is more than 1k different. LM6700 is below 5k. Don't trust those rrp price. They can do many way to the price. Dumb the stock, clear stock, push sale, quota, new model coming bla bla bla. I even can get more than half the rrp price discount. Do you believe that.

KL is very competitive place for electrical shop. Some can go really low. Some just ask me what price and call some fellow. Than straight give me the lowest. No need waste time negotiate. But some only serve vip.

But pls don't depend on my price. If about 5k, go get it.

these 2 models are very very close in pricing all the while...

What can be the diff between 55LM6200 and 55LM6700 models? Frame + LED Plus + WIFI built-in (compare in LG website) Both almost similar.

Is the diff. worth the extra hundreds?

I'm have been following this thread for quite sometimes as my old 29" CRT TV gave up after serving over 11 good years in my study room. Instead of replacing with a simple 32" LCD, I actually would like to get one 47" 3D for my living room for dual play games and shifted the existing 46" Samsung LCD TV to study room instead.

But the thing that keeping me go ahead with the purchase is warranty. I understand LG does come with 2 yrs warranty but I would pretty much like to have LG 3 yrs extended warranty covered for the next 5 yrs but what I got from LG customer service 20min ago is that LG does not provide extended warranty itself. The extended warranty will come from dealer if dealer provides that.... And this hit me hard as my 1st 37" LCD TV back in 2005/2006 only last me 3 yrs and luckily the 5 yrs extended warranty plan helped me get back a fortune since they couldn't fixed it (and didn't replace it with a new 37" TV else I'll be doomed...)

My point is nowadays electronic device in general have much shorter life span as before. If the price is low, then it would be ok to get a new one when it is spoilt and out of warranty. But if the price is high, it is wise to have a better warranty coverage plan.

My 2 cents...

Maybe the below 5k price is out of a blue moon.

I don't know what this 2 model different and feature.

Just get what you think is the lowest.

4.4 k should be 55LC6200,but with their demo video,i hardly see any different between this and 6700

ya,Sharp 60" is active 3D,which less impressive then LG passive 3D.Their old model LC60LE630 is below 5k now,but without 3D.I myself will go for LG if i really need the 3D.However,at the moment,size does matter to me therefore most probably i will go for 60" 835X....

Sharp next year Jan comeout new model 90" ! Below alot than the RRP if the shop given me is correct.
