Nope. Use cwm to flash it. Have you rooted your phone?
If you on ics ready, go dl speed mod kernel from cda thread and flash as pda, then you can flash the wanamlite rom through cwm.

i bought my s2 last month, 2day i realise tat my phone cant charge with charger...
i use usb cable plug in, won have any respond to my pc...wat happen to my s2?? how to solve it?

this about rooting my phone,tried the odin method and failed.so i opt to try installing the Push superuser + Busybox (Now v1.20.2) in recovery method but the 3e recovery didn't find the my cwm zip file on the root sd,why is that?

i find it much harder to root s2 rather than my old but already kaput csl mi300 . can i just root and still stick with the stock ics 4.03?

Seriously? I think rooting s2 is the easiest thing ever.. Just flash cf-root and you get root already. Only one step done

Stock 3e recovery need to flash from external sd. Please read the thread carefully. Or just flash speedmod kernel like the other person suggested. Rooting S2 is so easy, just there are so many ways newbies will be confuse. Flashing kernel does not change your rom so you can stick with whatever rom u are using now.
