both has their own pros & cons.

no doubt that S3 (android) has alot of apps and games, but still will lag after some time.

i'm a social guys, i use alot of twitter, fb posting , link, emails. both of my phone are 24hours data connections ON, both phone also get a fast notifications from FB. but i can read and reply any post to fb using my WP7 less than 30sec ~1min. with S3, i have to slide down the notifications, load into FB apps ... loading... then post. (took about 2min).

like WP7 ppl used to said: simply faster than any others.

aiya should challenge image quality. Tell your friend whats the point having a machine gun that cant kill your target only injured.

Just imagine a stand off haha the S3 shoots 10 bullets in 3 seconds but target still alive and shooting you back.

If S3 image quality so good i would have switch to S3 but sadly its below my expectation

To those who have used WP7, I know that it has Whatsapp and other social-based apps. Does it has Viber as well? I am using an Android devices now but planning to get one WP7 phone for the calls, texting, Viber or Whatsapp, perhaps the occasional FB and browsing, listening to music while waiting at the airport and whatnot. How is the battery life on average use? No need to mention the other aspects like resolution and brightness, and all that shenanigans. All I care about it the battery life, and a bit on the performance on the browser and the said apps. I tried it and WP7 basically is fast and smooth but havent been able to try the apps that are using internet connection to function.

- Got viber
- Battery life depends on which model
- Browser is fast and smooth
- The said apps all ok except for Whatsapp, very laggy and buggy. But I'm pretty sure they are fixing it.

Thanks for the input. I have read about the Whatsapp issues as well, but im sure they will come up with updates as well. As for the battery life, I am looking at one of the higher end models for Nokia, as I prefer Nokia's expertise in hardware tongue.gif Care to share what phone are u using, and average battery life?

Lumia 800. Battery life is improving the longer I use the phone, some others said so too. Not sure will it improve further but for now usually can last around 1-2 days. Some web browsing, games and calls / sms / whatsapp. Satisfied with batt life. smile.gif

so i found out that that bing music search can identify mandarin songs as well!

my co-workers were trying to figure out this one mandarin song that was playing on the radio, and i just decided to try using my phone and well...it found the song within 30 seconds even though i was about 15feet away from the radio and there were people talking and photocopier making copies, bing didnt have a problem.

i dont really understand mandarin that well (BANANA) but at least my phone does! LOL

if its old news, just ignore this post haha smile.gif
