Flash to custom ROM won't wipe your data unless the dev put wipe data on it.So will Samsung default app will restore back too?? (exp : chat on At least checkROM can be no wipe, until now I never wipe anything. Actually I seldom wipe since use Android. I don't see any point keep wiping, will only do if upgrade hang at boot up or a lot issue, or else I never wipe. Added on July 6, 2012, 10:16 pm QUOTE(apisfires @ Jul 6 2012, 10:13 PM) Nevermind, when checkROM out again, I download again, haha! I think I am flash maniac! Now complete 22% download. Kernel change won't wipe your data and no need wipe as well. I always put a backup working kernel in case the new kernel got problem and I can't access the phone.1.2.6 stable / 1.3.7 beta (will this wipe up all my data?) Soorrryyy for so many Q If you still on stock, but only root, without anything change. Just flash the new firmware via mobile odin to remain root and it won't wipe anything on it. There is no need to wipe data to flash Siyah kernel.1.2.6 stable / 1.3.7 beta (will this wipe up all my data?) I root my phone using XDA [ Chainfire ] link... Then i backup using CWM.. So now needed to backup app using titanium?? After flash the FW, i need to install titanium and restore my app back right? Soorrryyy for so many Q Recommended to wipe cache & cache partition only. To be safe you should backup every time when you do any flashing, but mostly I don't if only flash kernel. |

QUOTE(momiji_chan @ Jul 6 2012, 10:30 PM) It do, some crack will.Anyway, do some supportive action. 90% apps in Android kind of cheap, it just a cup of tea for the developer, I believe you sure can support it as you can buy this gorgeous phone. Pirated is really a shame and bad habit, it is same as stealing. Think about it, what your feeling if your hard work job just simply being snap/steal by others people. If everyone continue pirated, soon one day no developer will put effort on Android and release any useful apps, this will be end of Android then. Think about it, before doing so.
