Agreed if calculate by per sf is actually lower than most of not-that-famous developers nearby.. They still have 1700sft+ priced at near 900k at latest block, 2ksft + all above a million ad.

Well definitely no doubt on quality and reputation of this developer just that SDB may need to boost their sales, last blcok is less than 20% sales during my visit last week and middle block still have many large units left. Heard there is one family day event by SDB coming? Time to boost sales

To those WOTP buyers, what do you think of the area around Bandar Tun Hussein Onn?

I've visited the sales room a few weeks ago. Felt that the whole area is very quiet, no lepak area, mamak, Chinese restaurants, Old Town etc nearby.

A friend told me Mahkota Cheras next door more 'ong', suggested I buy landed there instead.

What are your thoughts?

In the Edge...week July 28 - Aug 3 2014 copy, has 2 articles that I think may interest people who read this tread. First article is the cover story on the hot spots along MRT Line 2 " Unlocking the value of densely populated neighbourhoods". There are a few experts giving their views, not surprisingly, Ho Chin Soon is one of them.
WOTP will certainly benefit from MRT Line 2, if it materializes...the residents of WOTP will then have easy access to two MRT lines.

The other article is on SDB plans RM895 million development in Singapore. This really surprises me as I thought the property market in Singapore is really bad with the cooling measures...bubble bursting and all the negative news...this is very brave action.
But the fact is SDB projects are doing very well, with 90% take up rate for 2 of its 3 completed properties in Singapore...that's not all...SDB stock has gained 35% so far this year, outperforming many of the big cap property players...according to the Edge.

Want more detail info....go and invest in a copy of the Edge...
