The late comers first to get burn.

Good development, but too late to buy now.

Soaring 3-Storey Archways That Invite You To A Most Unique Park Experience

PARKS are usually only an afterthought – space is made for them only after everything else has been considered, chiefly the apartment block or rows of houses.

With this new development in Bandar Tun Hussein Onn, Cheras, SDB is turning this concept on its head. Park land actually gets priority.

First of all, space is set aside for a park that is large enough to serve the needs of the entire community on this 8.9-acre Windows on the Park development. Only then will the three multi-storey apartment blocks be constructed on the remaining portion of the land area.

wotp update.

block A
they hanged up the number 06. now they working on the 7th floor.

Block C
3rd floor should be done in 1 week+ and soon will up to 4th floor.
*
I guess the rest of the block c and b can be deliver on time. Wondering wotp can be vp by oct 2015? that is approximate 17 months from now...from their current speed, it will be like 1.5 storeys for 1 month. Block a will have 27 floors yet to be build. That alone will take 18 months to get the block a done. Then the landskaping will take around 3-4 months? swimming pool and clubhouse another 2 months?? Approval from authorities will be longest. Syabas , TNB, MPKJ will easily take another 3-4 months as well. Based on this I guess wotp is behind schdeule by at least 10 months?? Anyone in construction line can comment?

Do you know that giant "Window" catches people attention...it attracts people come by to look at the "Window"...is like looking at a "Window of Opportunity" appearing in front of you.

In Paris...

In Cheras...

[attachmentid=4018068][attachmentid=4018069]

This is just one way of enjoying the unique giant "Window"

All SDB projects are good starting from concept, landscaping, architectures, materials use, design....only problems is all this does not comes with free , price wise is not a friendly one...Not many investor or home owners can absorb...from their history, Ameera, Park 7, Five Stones, The Hub, Sqwhere, Dedaun, 20 Trees all are damn good and award winning properties. No exceptional to WOTP....the question is only affordability..

Aber kor. U get any news regarding indoor basketball court building structure? Wonder what happen on that's basketball area.
*
I just ask the SA last week, it seems the build of the basketball court will not be confirm until VP. This is due to the initial plan was without the basketball. SDB will apply the new permit for basket ball construction upon VP..actually i'm not fancy of basket ball court also..better use that place for landscaping haha...more greens...

Agreed if calculate by per sf is actually lower than most of not-that-famous developers nearby.. They still have 1700sft+ priced at near 900k at latest block, 2ksft + all above a million ad.

Well definitely no doubt on quality and reputation of this developer just that SDB may need to boost their sales, last blcok is less than 20% sales during my visit last week and middle block still have many large units left. Heard there is one family day event by SDB coming? Time to boost sales  rclxms.gif
*
Overall sales is around 85% sold. Total have 540 units and now left with around 80 units. Nothing to worry much on this, still have 1.5 years for SDB slowly sell it. They are not in the desperate mode. Furthermore, most of the buyer of Wotp are own occupied.

To those WOTP buyers, what do you think of the area around Bandar Tun Hussein Onn?

I've visited the sales room a few weeks ago. Felt that the whole area is very quiet, no lepak area, mamak, Chinese restaurants, Old Town etc nearby.

A friend told me Mahkota Cheras next door more 'ong', suggested I buy landed there instead.

What are your thoughts?

One words summaries all, why would Citibank open in bandar tun Hussein onn instead of mahkota Cheras ?

In the Edge...week July 28 - Aug 3 2014 copy, has 2 articles that I think may interest people who read this tread. First article is the cover story on the hot spots along MRT Line 2 " Unlocking the value of densely populated neighbourhoods". There are a few experts giving their views, not surprisingly, Ho Chin Soon is one of them.
WOTP will certainly benefit from MRT Line 2, if it materializes...the residents of WOTP will then have easy access to two MRT lines.

The other article is on SDB plans RM895 million development in Singapore. This really surprises me as I thought the property market in Singapore is really bad with the cooling measures...bubble bursting and all the negative news...this is very brave action.
But the fact is SDB projects are doing very well, with 90% take up rate for 2 of its 3 completed properties in Singapore...that's not all...SDB stock has gained 35% so far this year, outperforming many of the big cap property players...according to the Edge.

Want more detail info....go and invest in a copy of the Edge...

aberdeen boss, can you please share the article?? thanks in advance
