MHF 10mb at rm138 is no longer attractive. Those who signed up rm138 package but yet to instal, I give you 10 reasons why you should stick to unifi.
1. The price different is mere rm11 compare to VIP 5
Yes and VIP10 is RM199 - Maxis Win2. Thomson router is problematic.
D-Link DIR615 have fair share of problem too, but in this case Thomsan more - Unifi Win3. better overseas routes.
Can proof? This is very subjective. - No Winner4. Maxis not friendly to File sharing site users, online gamers, multy taps browsers.
Again can proof? FYI, I cant download from rapidshare, but other user is okay - No Winner5. VoIP must plug to thomson router instead of TM modem.
Yes, too bad coz the fiber modem is not belong to Maxis - Unifi Win and Tie (Me no prob)6. Free calls to TM fixed lines.
Maxis also got free call to Maxis fixed lines and free (limited) minutes to Maxis Mobile and free (limited) minutes to 10 oversea call - Maxis Win, but Unifi Win IF all your frenz like to chat using fixed line7. Now you can retain you existing TM home line for rm1 per month. (for home alarm)
U sure? if Yes, Unifi Win... it really problematic to pull a new cable to the Fiber Modem8. A separate dedicated 8mbps line for iptv with some free to air channels.
Hopefully Maxis have dedicated bandwidth too - Unifi Win, Maxis unknown9. Maxis iptv is optional add on and not sure is sharing our 10mbps bandwidth or dedicated line.
Same as above10. Last but not least, no more maxis technician come but TM technician never turn up or maxis blame TM modem and TM blame maxis router finger pointing games.
Having 2 different contractor is a problem - Unifi WinMore about IPTV
>HyppTV have more Channel
Note: Maxis hv 14 content provider mostly SE Asia Boardcasting company, not US/Euro/EastAsia
>HyppTV now charge RM1/Channel, Note: Actual price is RM3 if not mistaken
Note: Minimal RM30 for 30 channels (Newspaper didnt mention this! Not too sure how it works)
>Free Channel RTM1,2,TV3,NTV7,8TV,TV9,TVi - Tie (both is free)
