Guys, can Elantra service at 10k km interval by using semi/fully synthetic engine oil?
Thanks.

Yes you can. I even told by SA that you can bring your own engine oil.. icon_rolleyes.gif

Talked to Hyundai's CS today.
There will be 8 different features for new Elantra.

1) Rear fog lamp - CS mentioned "fog lamp", could be "tail light".
2) Tail light multi function switch.
3) Front bumper - europe type license plate.
4) Headlamp additional levelling device - for different light intensity setting?
5) Seat belt reminder.
6) Power window lock - even if this is on, driver's window won't be locked; whereas previously will be locked.
7) Front floor carpet with hook - not sure for driver only or both driver and co-driver.
8) Vechicle number below front wind screen - not too sure what it is; probably sticker that can be removed.

CS can't clearly describe some features as just read from paper.
Hope this helps.
Pls help to elaborate if you know.

Inspected my car in the workshop. Let me confirm the above:

1) - Yes - the full tail light
2) - Yes
3) - Can't tell the difference since i can't remember how the 'older' elantra looks like
4) - Yes - to adjust the vertical angle of the light
5) - Yes
6) - Yes
7) - Yes - both driver & co-driver
8) - Yes - it shows the chassis number

Anyone knows if Raytech CS-Centurion good?
1) 6 mil - VLT = 55%, UVR = 99%, IRR = 95%
2) 4 mil - VLT = 63%, UVR = 99%, IRR = 95%

For what price the above is considered good deal?
Really not knowing much on car tint.
Thanks.

drool.gif 1.6 Hispec Auto, Fuel : Petronas Primax 95, Engine oil : 5W30, milage : +-9,200km,
Avg FC on digital meter : 7.8-8lit/100km
Urban FC : +-480km
Mixed FC : +-520km

Hmm, that is pretty good. Mine is 1.6HS (A), Fuel Shell 95, Engine oil Shell Ultra 5W40, Mileage 11,400km
Mixed FC (80% h/way 20% urban) : 10km per liter or 10 liter per 100km based on topping up method. (But my fuel meter shows me 8.8 liter per 100km which is too optimistic.)

I am pretty heavy footed, always exploring the higher revs during acceleration. However, my fuel consumption was way better the first few months when I got the car, I was averaging 11-12km per liter. Hmmmm.... hmm.gif

I booked a 1.6 high spec back in November.

Any idea when I can get it?

I regret booking this car cause it's taking way too long.
