My advise is to call SD careline to confirm your SA's promise.
If it is ex-stock, you should get your car sooner (just paper work).

I can also tell u many horror stories of Toyota sc I went. U can also find many Honda horror stories in the forum. It depends on which sc u go. They are not the same. Just avoid those u have bad experience in.

I believe i have replied to some posts earlier in this thread pertaining to similar questions :

1st service (minor) - RM40-RM50
2nd service (minor) - RM70-RM90 (much more if you're using FullSyn)
4th service (major) - RM700 (depending on what you're changing)

Most car manufacturer do not support aftermarket mod. They will generally say it will void warranty. Whichever part you mod, that particular part's warranty are voided. Depends on the warranty terms. Some will even void the whole car entirely. Cause it's no longer as per factory setting and condition. It's consider as user abused.

In a nutshell, modder don't care bout warranty. Unless its something you can easily reverse back to default.

Aftermarket mod and something to do with wiring is considered void lah. Better do it at Hyundai.

Good news for new owner!
There will be some additional features added in new Elantra.

1) Inner Tail light - no need to modify your own. It becomes standard.
2) Headlamp switch levelling
3) Driver side floor mat added 2 hook. Purpose to prevent the floor mat stuck at the pedal.
4) Additional switches ( forgot the function ) near the wiper switch
5) Driver Seat belt alert sign ( at the instrument panel ).
6) Additional button ( forgot the function )  at driver side power window.

Why I know it?

My sa called me just now.. he said i will got my 2013 elantra next week.. 2013 got new accessories.. if im not mistaken.. he said 2013 car got full tail lights and adjustable fog lamp..

PS: just got news from inside that 1000 units had already arrived early this month.
Now in assembly line to be finish n ship out to owners.
Expected to deliver around 1000 units before CNY.
80% is 1.8 if I remember correctly. So 1.6 owners will need to be patients.
No news yet on the manual version till date.
Hope to see a lot of Elantrian on the street during this CNY

Arrived jan 2013.
8 months later...

I booked a 1.6 high spec back in November.

Any idea when I can get it?

I regret booking this car cause it's taking way too long.
