QUOTE(mtxx @ Aug 21 2012, 01:19 PM) benny, if i remembered correctly, you never use stock rom before, you were on stock less than 3 hours and straight go custom rom. so how you judge cna is 30-40% better in battery life compared to stock? Added on August 21, 2012, 1:20 pmtold you its impossible to resist. welcome to the club! happy rooting and flashing roms 3 hours enough to assess. I test mainly on browsing as standard guide as I use it the most ryu do download n standby the stock Google image in case you have issues restarting tab n fail to boot to recovery use toolkit flash back stock to revive tablet This post has been edited by benny888: Aug 21 2012, 01:32 PM

You flash the stock recovery image as a single zip file. Do not extract it. The toolkit will auto extract it. If you read the instructions posted in the pre flash window you will be told which folder in the gnex toolkit folder this stock image be put in Try again. Flashing back just take under a minute If you wish to go back to cwm, do it in fastboot mode with tab connected to pc. Select vol up to move to recovery mode n press power

QUOTE(LovelyPotato @ Aug 24 2012, 07:53 AM) I did flash it as a full zip file without extracting it. But it didn't seems to help at any way. Did you put the zip file in the correct sub folder of the gnex toolkit folder It should work seamlessly I restore it only few days ago using the toolkit just to take some performance stats n compare with cna rom

QUOTE(LovelyPotato @ Aug 24 2012, 10:25 AM) yes, i did, and everything run flawlessly until it reboots. Do I have to flash TWRP to flash? Coz I'm currently using CWM recovery. If yes, how do I flash TWRP? Not necessary to select TWRP to reflash stock image You can choose to select TWRP as recovery from just the toolkit selection of flashing clockwork recovery I prefer to use TWRP over CWM recovery Strange you are unable to get it done. It is actually straightforward .Did you try extracting your downloaded stock image to see whether it is a good download. When you flash it using the toolkit, you will see messages of extracting the image zip file midway in process

QUOTE(LovelyPotato @ Aug 24 2012, 11:04 AM) I did wipe everything before and after flashing. Nope, I have not flashed anything before, just unlock bootloader and rooted it(alone with permanent CWM using toolkit). Then I couldn't restore stock anymore. Basically right now as long as I reboot, it will back to the same state no matter what I do (Install/uninstall app, flash, etc) Added on August 24, 2012, 11:05 amyes I did, I even tried to download a few different time, but it still doesn't work as it should be. Besides that, I couldn't even flash any TWRP recovery image, whenever I flash it and reboot, it goes back to the same state again and I reboot manually to recovery, it goes back to CWM again. My device is like a permanent hard disk that couldn't write anymore. When you have finished flashing the Recovery ( whether is CWM or TWRP ) - make sure your tab is still connected to PC. Select recovery mode and you will boot into recovery successfully. When you wish to go to recovery mode when tab is already OK, download install free app QUICKBOOT and use it to boot to recovery mode ( not necessary to connect to PC)

Latest tweets from CNA rom developer. Still is my favorite rom on my nexus n nexus 7. Quote:
I have been proud of each rom I have released, but this one is really shaping up to be my favorite release yet.
A few extra goodies came my way that I want to add to the rom before the big release. So it will either be later today or early tomorrow.
