QUOTE(bbgoat @ Jan 16 2015, 03:14 PM) You don't leave the windows open permanent. Some scenario - When first reach home, open up the windows and door, let the heat in the room escape out before switch on the a/c - When first reach home, open up the higher windows, switch on the a/c, the hot air will move out, this of course depend where the windows, if its very close to the a/c than is not ideal. If further away and higher, the heat cumulative earlier will escape faster. My practice, even in hot day. When reach home in the evening, I switch on vent fan in my room, open the windows. Force the cooler air from outside to come in. Unless outside air are warmer (very unlikely), only than I will switch on the a/c. |

QUOTE(hondaracer @ Jan 31 2015, 10:33 PM) All, I just visited Harvey Norman, salesman said that if your home has piping done for noniverted A/C, piping need to be redone and new wiring is needed as old piping not thick enough for inverted AC and new inverted AC are 5 phase but old houses have 3 phase wiring. No such things as 5 phase. 5 cores wiring yes. |

The way to save the bills is reduce its dependency to the A/C, unless he/she need it because is running a home office, data center, entire house aquarium.

QUOTE(ozak @ Mar 2 2015, 09:44 AM) I always wonder, how a data center can manage a fail safe aircon? Not the big big center 1 la. Those I know they have a very high tech aircon. But the average server room here. Usually for server room, it operate with 2 to 3 A/Cs running at specific interval using external timer to trigger, and if one fail, it have to manually switch over, or another method is making the switch over time shortest possible say 90mins per A/C, this will help reduce the server failure if one A/C failed. And a monitoring system is put in place to detect voltages, temperature, humidity, and motions it trigger the alert via SMS and Email. I setup few of these. The fire suppression system is also another big cost, need waterless system, all depend what equipment in the room. |

QUOTE(ozak @ Mar 2 2015, 10:34 AM) You using the normal household aircon or something special? Can it be modify to run in interval ? Normal A/C can do it, it have a switch to use as manual switch on/off. A/C installer will know how to set it. Is all trigger back online when power resume. Same as for server, when power failure detected, it will power off after it passed the pre-configure the wait time. How about holiday time? The IT guy half way from the globe? Power failure for few hr and resume. Will the aircon running back itself without human interfere? |

QUOTE(ozak @ Mar 2 2015, 01:39 PM) I don't think you want to deactivate the resume function for the fridge. And it doesn't cost anything just to let it resume. Actually don't have to worry of resume, because when the power trip, and you want to leave the room/house, just off the main. For aircon, I wouldn't want it to resume. |

QUOTE(ozak @ Mar 2 2015, 03:12 PM) Definitily I m worry. Specially the fridge. Auto resume is a must. You don't want holiday back and your fridge food...... I am reference to the Ac only. Fridge sure need to auto start. For aircon, you don't want it to run back while you not in the house. Just don't touch the main. I need my server, fridge etc to resume. And if you have aquarium..... |

QUOTE(steventan85 @ Apr 12 2015, 11:01 AM) Use casing clip to screw on the indoor bracket ..sharp team shock when see it ..asked me to redo the bracket soon to avoid indoor unit fall down .....jintexelectronic is piece of shit ...put all the blame on the installer and said this and that ... Said they hav no choice but to choose them coz no installer ...screw them loudly and no longer their customer ... Have to understand installer is not at their control, you can always get own installer. Same goes to legend SS2 many say they are shitty, I bought almost all my household appliances from them and have no problem, because I dont use their installer.AVOID JINTEX ELECTRONIC AT SEAPARK AT ALL COST ..., If you want to have company that provide own installer go bigger chain shop and confirm with them is it their own installer or outsource. All installer will say they are good. Non will say they are lousy. This post has been edited by weikee: Apr 12 2015, 12:23 PM |

QUOTE(supersound @ Sep 11 2015, 10:57 AM) Then show numbers lor, simple as that. But can you? You can't, since once the numbers are revealed, your lies will be busted automatically. Well, you know some people just don't have numbers to proof, just like saying non-inverter AC is noisy and inverter quiet. |
