However by doing this I confirmed one mistake in my previous list due to a slight error in my excel formula (ToS required for Perfect Star set to 16 instead of 15, causing the value to be slightly wrong for Perfect Star & Radiant Star)

To put it simply,

Cumulative ToS Required = (3*PreviousToSRequiredToCraft)+ToSRequiredToCraft

Say, is it me or the price of flawless squares have gone up five times the price for emerald and rubies? Must be the paragon levels I suppose.....

^^, the price of both flawless square gems have actually gone up substantially that's for sure. I've been selling almost every rubies and emeralds that I've found until I don't even have any higher quality ones except just square gems to put in some of my own armor sockets.

start from flawless square emerald up to perfect star emerald...it ll cost u around 16.5M++...with the current price of flawless square emerald + TOS....so go figure....

If you have all the required resources, of course craft is cheaper, providing you got the plan also.

With the recent (just 1 week before patch 1.0.4 updates) upheaval of various (such as ruby, emerald etc) gem prices from perfect star quality onwards, I've managed to obtain the highest crafting achievement however via mainly unorthodox gem trading substantial profits. In addition of course, my barb did find several gem designs loot while getting beat up often top, bottom, left, right and center in Act 4 Inferno. hehehe.

So, to cut the story short ...my jeweller can craft all gems and also, all quality now. Feel free to enlist my Free Of Charge service (ahem!, minimum Star quality), please.

I'd crafted every (except for just one only) ruby of radiant star quality for my barb from either square (1728 pcs & 729 tome of jewelcrafting) or flawless (729 pcs & 1631 tome of secrets) quality levels, personally.
