was just wondering, when you make a reverse parking, do you prefer to look at the rear mirror? or the HU? somehow i would still prefer to look at the rear mirror, feel funny having to look down at the HU...

was browsing lelong to look for some gadget and saw this ad.. for me it's cool... can clip on an existing rear view mirror..

the only prob, still need to pull the wire under the car carpet... power wise... hm... still no choice kena tap somewhere... especially the reverse light power... else macam mana the reverse sensor want to initiate...

if u get use to the reverse sound and agak agak u will know how it sounded like when u are too near. i normally view the reverse mirror and listen to the sound.

not really a need for reverse camera..

thanks maverick for posting the result here.. thumbup.gif

1. so it's okay to install voltage stabiliser without voiding the warranty? since they say u can try...

when i go to CoE, i saw a special counter for preve... but always nobody there at the counter.. sweat.gif
i talk to a SA about this walk-in without appointment, he say can do that but cannot guarantee the vendor engineer will be there when u come... so for replacing faulty items, just create an appointment date with CoE so the vendor engineer will be aware and waiting for u when u come..

i was thinking of adding an on/off switch, since we gonna do the wiring, so whenever reverse, switch it on.
for power source perhaps can use those 12v alkaline battery?

if can get those remote control to switch on, just like those LED lights using battery, then using it with the wireless camera no more wiring needed.

if we use the wireless camera

external LCD monitor requires power source, so we can use the front 12v socket.
the wireless camera, need power source as well.

otherwise no choice but to tap on the reverse light. before go sc for servicing, uninstall the wireless camera lor.
