yes this is working as intended i think for ff14...this happens in WoW as well but in ff14 i found out that u need to have quite amount of dmg to the mob before counting it as ur quest credit as well...for instance...i do try 1 quest where i need to kill 4 skeleton in 1 of the underground dome or smth...forget the name...inside there was like 20 ppl waiting it to spawn...so i try my luck as a LANCER = =.....i hardly get 4 kills cause some of them i manage to deliver only like 1 or 2 blows and it does not count as my quest credits

Yeah true i noticed this also,u need to do some amount of dmg first then can count as ur quest credit. I just follow ppl that attacking the mobs, and i tumpang sekaki also to get my quest done lol...

how to change to another classs? just equip class weapon rite? y cant equip during beta? need to learn from class master 1st?

u need to be lvl 10 first and complete ur first class lvl 10 quest line...then go to the other class guild to join them. Once u join those guild like lancer or archer then u can equip their weapon to change class automatically. But of course u cant change class during combat

I heard you CAN change class during combat, even put the class button on the hotbar?

Nope, you cannot change during combat/aggroed.

I'm still worried about paying fees and account since I bought the EU version, but I can't know until I get to play haha. In any case, apparently The Lodestone beta will be up at 3pm GMT. Kind of a community website for FFXIV.
