must teach ur gp catch mite 
then u can senang senang

i encounter tis issue long time ago when the bedding become swamp.
since tat time i very hardworking change their bedding, black mite issue solved 

i change every 2-3 days.. pun can came back.. stuborn mite

Dr Jenny from Hand n Paw not really sure is she still working there or not...the last time I make appointment with her on weekend and then she said u come on Sat but when I am there she is not there and she actually move to another place and all the way from Wangsa Maju brought my piggies to see her and this happen. End up brought them to Dr Yeoh again no appointment and he went to Penang so met up with a young vet not bad he also give vit c to my gps...now they are fine already.

My gps mite was cured by Dr Jenny really grateful to her but I heard that she is not feeling well so anything need to make appointment with her she got a few vets to run so difficult to meet up with her....I think u try on Dr jenny first if cant get her then Dr Yeoh. Pls go to vet faster as eye infection can caused serious illness...gp pig even they are in pain their cutie face still tat cute..no expression of pain in their cute face...so pls dun drag any longer the longer u drag the more suffer and painful they are...

I normally email her first. and 2 days before going will email her again
she now have a fix schedule for each clinic. I choose hand n paws because it is nearest to my house.
You can bath them with vinegar plus water. It done the job for me. When you bath them, then you need to change the whole bedding again so they will have a new bedding without mites egg/mites in it

i have 2 piggies, Mocha & Muffin 
Mocha is a male, 1 years old,
Muffin is a female, maybe around 10 months.
Muffin had already give birth twice.

my question is:
1. can i still toilet train them or is it too late?
2. anyone know where can i get a cage like this (the black one)?

Hi guys, glad that Dr Jenny is back to Hand and Paws...the other time I went to see her cos it was emergency that is why cant email her accordingly.during that time my gps got choked and make funny sound i was panic that is why lo....once a while my gp still choked herself dunno why....eating too fast I guess...notti notti gal...

Added on July 2, 2012, 10:28 pmAbt the mite thing....Dr jenny told me some of the owner just change their wood shaving bedding to paper based then no more mites after tat...well, i followed her advise 2 yrs ago and my gps are free of mites until now...:)If got mites just try vinegar or medicine for cats...but need vet help lo...then clean not only the cage itself but also the whole area... i did that quite a bit of times when my gps are young...really susah to get rid of mites...so need to careful when got black dots cos the gps dun like to be touch cos painful ma...the mites will bite them each time u touch their furs....pity our babies....

i just bought a GP home....and i found out the left eye is having problems. Cant open unless i clean it caused by dry tears or shit. Please help

U from ganu as well? which part?    ya going back... need to settle few stuff... but mostly will be back to kl b4 17th August... so i guess officially not in kt during raya...

it is normal as u still a stranger to them, just gv them some time
let them smell ur hand everytime u feed them but beware they bite u as enemy

thx for the info on cage cleaning, but i not using dog cage style. quite leceh if use paper base.

my nearer pet shop recommend me to use wood pellet.
1st type = absorb liquid and expand, then just scoop it and throw away
2nd type = absorb liquid and become powder, then just scoop it and throw away

anyone using this kind of bedding?

I am using woody pellet bedding for their toilet only.
The rest I am using fleece
