you would need to reflash the kernel back if you update ur phone using the firmware u gave earlier.

the idea of having a SuperSU Pro is that we could survive the OTA updates without the hassles.

mine updated already, and being a SuperSU Pro user, sadly, it wiped off my root. need to re-root manually. there goes my $2.52 but well, chainfire did mention no guarantees. Still, I am sad.gif

guys means if update thru kies is 7xxmb, while using 3G or wifi is oni 22mb? y so big diff? and i m still on stock firmware, not rooted yet..

Still not quite get what you mean gap at the edge of the screen by looking at the photo you posted. I see it do not have any problem after upgraded.

i think kies one is download whole rom, ota only download necessary file to replace the old one

its not about downloading the app bro, it's about it went back to 0, non-rooted state. means need to re-root back again, thats all. even with the Survival mode ticked on with the SuperSU Pro.

so that means download kies = download from sammobile which also 7xx mb ???

i guess i just use ODIN to flash it back, retain the root access

and then reflash siyah kernel

just use the cwm 6.0 with all the stuff in one.. easy to flash back...

Omega 5.2 + Siyah 1.2.6 damn good and smooth so far. Benchmark scores on Antutu also always above 12k. Loving it.
