dont bother checking that way. it will give you 'no update' as usual.

Want to know this too before update

me no wanna root yet... so only way left is thru kies? any other way to trick it to prompt the notification to update again? read that the download is huge.. me only on 1mbps line

I purchased SuperSU Pro this evening, now downloading the update via KIES (F-ing slow). Fingers crossed that it would keep mine rooted after the update.

if i upgrade to SuperSU pro and flash using this way will i retain the root ?

22MB+ only. The only problem now is their server is way too slow. Mine near 2hours ady now only reaches 68%.

Successfully upgrade through mobile odin pro and supersu/root still intact.

if you download whole firmware is huge, which is 7xx mb
else OTA just 22 mb only
but no choice, can't find any update, so downloading the whole firmware from sammobile
and me more worse, 512kbps line only =_=

what the size download from kies using pc ?

Hei! I check the over the air update again, now it said i have update available. Yeayy...

Ermm..maybe I will try update at 5:00am, when all Malaysian SGS3 owner sleep. I guess it more faster and I can got successfully update.

you using normal supersu or pro ?

i dont think you would need to purchase the SU Pro if you wanna flash it via ODIN.

I do not have supersu pro so not able to help you guys test out.

Maybe supersu pro will help if you want to flash through pc odin.

But if you have mobile odin pro can straight away flash and retain the root.

p/s: tar.md5 file is huge after extracted from firmware zip. It's around 1.15GB
