wtf my G55 just gave me an overheating warning when playing BF3.. coretempt recorded 92c.. first time experience this

just tried out BF3 for about 1 hour in my office (air-conditioned) the CPU tempt was around 82c which i think is normal.. will try again in normal room temperature

izzit very common for other countries to exchange their laptop for a new one whenever they face problem? ROG forumers keep telling me to go for exchange because of the overheat issue, but u know la.. G55 in Malaysia is howl limited, n i dunno how long it takes Asus to do so

guys, u guys have any problem with the 209 bios? good or bad experience?
I was quite happy with the new version until i experience overheating for one time when playing game.. i'm now thinking of reversing the bios back to the 208 version.. not sure if it's a good idea.. *UPDATE: attempt to reverse the bios failed.. the bios won't accept older version guess i just have to stick to itThis post has been edited by ykgen: Jul 10 2012, 04:09 PM |

i'm sure you all have gone through the furmark stress test on your GPU, dare to take on the CPU stress test? download here: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/22074...elburntest.html I set the stress level to very high (didn't dare to try the maximum level as it uses all your available memory) and I used core temp to monitor the temperature. test result shows that the cpu runs stable BUT i got new highest CPU temp recorded on core 0 at 94c!!!  try n share your result here |
