Part of the reason for me is also coz I think it can control the temp better then msi? I tends to leave my desktop 24/7 last when I play mmorpg.  G55 can 24/7 ma? Another reason is coz 2 years warranty. Msi only 1 year.

I test my gpu using furmark 1980x1080 15 mins test. When its at 38% , gpu temp already 78!!! Don't dare to carry on so cancel it lol. The temp is normal ?

my highest temperature for furmark is 86c no worry la

Thanks for sharing. But IMHO this current setup can last you easily for 3 years (not gamingproof though)

for me.. a gaming laptop will only last about 2 years.. by the end of 2nd year, we r expected to play the latest game on low setting.. rclxms.gif

Now he told me he posted my hardisk yesterday and will show me the consignment letter that he posted it later. I hope he will laugh.gif

and no la bro, using my brother's xps now. Haha, not bad la. Maybe cause I havent install any games in it and was too busy with my university. And maybe will get a sager in the future. Not sure yet smile.gif how are you btw?

i'm good.. live with the g55 "defects" harmonically still no new sound driver... backlit keyboard issue... slightly hotter CPU temperature than others.. everything else was ok rclxms.gif

he's in KL, but he told me that he'll post it to me. So i'm ok. Although I had to push him to reply ONE single question. Which irritates me a bit.

Before decided on my refund. My dad wanted to meet him in person and been discussing my uncle (he's in the law field) to whether can pursue this case in the tribunal court or not and push for consumer rights or some shiz.

I told him no need la, just settle it myself.

I didnt say it was better. But both have the same cooling system where two fans/vents blowing each for the gpu and cpu. The only problem I would face would be the Np9150 making quite a noise when the fan is underload. This is where the G55 is good at (and i'm sure the G75 will be even better due to its larger chassis). They hid the noise well within its thick G55 body. Hence it's all silent and stuff. But i've read so many readings where playing games in high/ultra settings. The temp gets really really high too for the G55 (about 80-88C?) And the fact they're running with the new kepler card, gtx660m in comparison with the stock Sager np9150 running with the older fermi card, GTX670m. So i'm not too sure. Maybe some of you guys can confirm this? (i know ykgen is the only one facing this problem laugh.gif)  But i did see the G55 (3d version) when i was in Lowyat. Man it was hugeeee  sweat.gif

I was doing my research between the cooling in GT60. np9150 and G55. The MSI marketed themselves with (lol) turbo fan boost. They have only one fan blowing the cpu and gpu. And when under extreme load, man it is noisy as hell. So for cooling effectiveness, and fan noise level. MSI gt60 is definitely out for me. Steelseries is a plus though.

Haha, people been telling me DO NOT play bf3 in the library with the NP 9150. I'll kena chased out tongue.gif
I actually like the simple look on the Sager over the MSI. So maybe thats why laugh.gif

but in terms of look, G55 > np 9150 > any other laptop > GT60.

when i played diablo 3 top CPU temperature was 75c.. but BF3 will bring it as hot as 85c may be FPS game is more demanding tongue.gif normal room temperature
