Subforum fora single game? I don't think it is needed.

A subforum for a whole genre or a franchise with at least 3-4 titles? That is much more reasonable.

I think you probably meant make a sub forum only after the game has been released and has enough topics to be covered like how Diablo 3 has done so.

I actually think the subforum for Diablo 3 is totally not needed.

A subforum for World of Warcraft, the Warcraft series and Starcraft series on the other hand are justified because they have enough expansions and sequels to warrant a subforum.

If teh Torchlight subforum is to cover everything from Torchlight 1, 2, future expansion and maybe future sequels, that would be more reasonable. If there is an active modding community, even better justified for a subforum.

TL1 has that And TL2 is bound to have mods.

i beg to differ. Diablo 3 players fully deserved a subforum to whine about Diablo 3 patches.

This is actually a reasonable idea. After all we have Path of Exile, and Grim Dawn is coming as well. A subforum for ARPG would be nice.

At least we need to have a sub forum for modding.

Mod will be the only thing will kept this game going.. and going.. increase the millage, so to speak.

We can share what are the best mod around and give opinion to members here.


Speaking of modding, anybody here have a talent on coding, 3D modelling, and graphic?
I been thinking to come up with a custom weapon/gear/pet mod. Just some silly stuff you can put in the game.

On runic forum, some dude ask can make a staff from this:



and later runic stuff came with "shut up take my money meme"

On TL1, Blender http://www.blender.org/ is wide popular free 3D modelling software.
Hope it will supported on TL2 mod as well.

I think I can port my CAD model to VRML (Virtual Reality Modeling Language) so the meshes be editable in Blender.

Then need somebody that good with graphic to do the texture mapping.

Finally, some coding guy to pack things up to do mod, and the rest can be tester..
