hi guys. wanna buy my first smart phone. have never gotten myself into the world of smartphones so hopefully you guys could give me a good suggestion or two.

1. Brand.
doesn't matter, as long as it's one of those latest ones and has a good and large community and widely supported and lots of apps

2. Budget.
more or less rm2000

3. Specs.
i would like it to have a good camera and easy UI and i'm gonna use it a lot for gps, mobile internet browsing, and documents reading

4. Type/Size. (Candybar, Clamshell etc...)
candybar but if other form is nicer and more durable then why not

in my mind is iphone 4s but i'm afraid that it might be replaced soon with newer iphone or other better spec-wise smartphones. and also, is it a wise time to buy a smartphone now?

iphone ar if you don mind so small screen then ok also for daily use

next iphone will be launch october something and perhaps reach here at dec or 2013 .

-The performance difference can only be noticed when doing heavy tasks.
-Camera probably Xperia P better since it got exmor R sensor.
-Xperia P got bad batt life, S3 ok.
-Xperia P is enough.
-If batt life is an issue then consider Sony xperia S or SE xperia arc / arc S.
