I'm new here and had been living in Fern Lane since the past 3 months, we were among the first 5 occupants.. However, we are just a tenant. Are we eligible to join this group and discussions? Or is it only a closed group for owners only? :-)) Please advise.

Just would like to add on the security.. since we've moved in, we had installed an alarm system (since our owner only provides the back door grill). Though we know it is not secure enough, at least that gave us some good nights sleep.

Last night our alarm triggered at the main sliding/ glass door at the living room (never happened before at that zone), our security provider helped us to alert the nearest police station and soon after (about 30mins after, luckily there's nothing suspicious happened) a police patrol car came and make a round (that was around 11.45pm - 12.15am), stop at our place and get in touched with us over the phone.

But still we feel insecure as our lane had always been the main route for most of the foreign workers to the shop area (shortcut via Clover towards the small roundabout). we can't help being exposed to them plus outsiders who has been driving slowly 'admiring' fern lane's units on almost every weekends.

Lately, the garbage collectors only work when we lodge a complaint. there was one time they only collect after 3 weeks, after our neighbour and us lodged many reports.

One more thing, if any of you plans to move in soon, make sure you climb (or get someone to climb) to the roof top, via the 2nd room's bathroom. Just to check if there's sign or future opportunities of intrusion. One of our neighbors found someone's 'bedroom' there, perhaps some workers doing reno works next door. We are very concern when hearing that since our daughter sleeps in the 2nd bedroom, and we havent install any window/vibration sensor to the room.

And yes, the contractors and workers have all the access to most of the empty houses. even we've seen an indo guy going in & out, lepaking in our next door's house. That was before the gates were locked (or tie up).

we also have some bad experience with the contractors since we are still doing some minor works in our house. so, we kinda know who is reliable including those main con staffs/ workers.

Defect, at the normal places. front porch Roof & internal leaking from our master bedroom toilet, which gives a big mouldy stain at the wall above the staircase.

It is good if we the tenants also could have the access or to be invited for any meeting concerning security or any happenings in FL.

heard there was a robbery at Fern Lane yesteday. Anyone know any details. My guard informed me that  grilles were cut by an Indonesian.

Just to let you guys know, the police and some neighbours/construction workers just ran after 2 indon buglars around 6+pm. Our alarm triggered, checked the kitchen, saw a man ran and jumpa into an empty house. Our security service called the police and a bunch of policemen came ran after any suspicious men. well apparently too many indons became suspicious as almost all of them started to run when they saw the police,for heir own good reasons. Kudos to the police but them indon buglars are won.. They elopped easily in between fern and clover. And today, roadblock started as early as 6pm..

One of the sub contractors Indon worker ran to my area and hid in a corner house. He was doing repairs in my house. He begged me to smuggle him out of Clover gurad house. I refused. I do not want to be caught for no reason for harbouring an illegal

Now i am worried they may just vandalise my house fro not helping . Sigh

In terms of frontage, I like FL's amongst the others phases.  Looks wide and a good fit for 2 cars in the porch..

Fern Lane's contractor is MYHOMEPLAM Integrated Sdn Bhd.

Went to Furn Lane yesterday after more than a month and was disappointed to see that there was limited movement on owners moving in. Still looks like a ghost town.
Sigh...what's happening? Looks like we will only move in post DASH then. We need civilisation.

Looks like the postcode has changed and the seksyen U16 has also been removed. I would like to know if you're using the new address or are still using the old one?

I used him for the first reno in Feb 2012. First job was fine. Then on the second phase last year, he started to give all kinds of excuses and did not finish the job. After numerous calls etc, he just loaded a whole stack of bricks and sand in my porch and then made promises to complete it week after week. All kinds of excused given. The wirings for the lights for the plaster ceiling is still incomplete and also the frames. He was supposed to do my garden and fence but no news.

Until today he did not finish the job. But since I have postponed my movement to DA I haven't been calling him as I'm tied down with work. Once, I'm free I will engage another contractor.

I suggest you get another contractor. You've been screwed just like me.
