u can update it via sony pc companion or sony update service whether it's ori or ap set ..
or u just can flash the ftf file from xda using flashtool ..

better upgrade to ics first before root ..
if u root and upgrade to ics it'll be useless since upgrade ur rom will delete all your tweak ..
including root ..

btw ,
welcome to the club bro !!

Hi all, since C9 RC1 is already available for our device.. do you guys know any guide that I can view to help me flash the rom?

There's no dedicated xda thread for this and it seems like this phone is not very popular as well.. really hard to find a well written guide.

Anyone already using CM9 can write a step by step instruction? Many thanks.

Yeah I saw the announcement last night, quite surprised to see our xperia is in the list.

Maybe once you're done you can write some basic step by step tutorial for us biggrin.gif

H/W keyboard lighting doesn't work? Ah.. that's too bad. Maybe I'll wait until it got sorted out before flashing this rom. I don't really care about the other issue.

Thanks for taking your time to write the tutorial though smile.gif
