QUOTE(carrera_gt @ Jun 15 2012, 12:54 PM) Dugong? Why need to brace ourself for that Where as if I'm in my ISWAGA, I can never speedpass a dugong, otherwise they will sure diong 9 me de. There was once a white DRD Sportibo kena overtook by moi whilst it was crawling(note that I'm not even racing him), the bugger quickly zip through emergency lane overtake me then jam brake infront of me Drive safe people. Dugong is a good car, but if the driver is dangerous, regardless how careful you are they'll still give you trouble. Don't kacau them. If wanna tapau, make sure don't gib chance for them to chase back |

Check FUELLY and study betterif yes please tell me how is the car with u and genral information about it like FC,acceleration,noisy.... many thanks Normally different car/different person/different driving style all came up with different FC, besides road/traffic condition affect mileage pretty much. Here is a little story of what happened when I was away after dinner.
Just now when I was testing my "brand new" hai flow drop in filter(thanks to dares). After Damansara Perdana, approaching PJTC curving to the right heading LDP toll plaza, I down shift & did a double de-clutch to keep my RPM hai before I taking the right corner. Clean suction sound, hai RPM, everything seems to be just nice & I was enjoying the powerful induction sound and pulling myself apart on the stock suspensions. Whilst the speed climbs and ready to shift up, I engaged 4 gear, declutch & full throttle. Suddenly the car loss power, RPM climbs until rev cut. I try to release to neutral and reengage, same thing as if the gear box is not there. My heart had broken in to zillion pieces, I thought I broke the gear box I had no choice but to stop at the road side and wait for assistance. I called up magician and he adviced to give it few minutes to cool down and try again. Normally gearbox doesn't just knock out like that. So I rested the car for about 15 minutes, start my engine and WOW! The gear box came alive! But then, happiness doesn't last long as I engaged 2nd gear, the clutch slip became obvious. I had to shift to 3rd gear and drive below 40kmh to maintain momentum. RPM is farkin up and down inconsistently even-though I'm driving at the same speed. Finally reach one of my friend's workshop(not the best) quite nearby, immediately we hook the car up dismantle the gearbox to see wtf is going on. ![]() Look carefully, can you see where is the clutch pad?! Or you only see steel sheets hanging there?! ![]() The other side of the clutch, still have very thin layer of clutch pad running on my flywheel, until I double de-clutched it and finally the thin layer of clutch pad couldn't take it anymore and snapped! Ladies & gentlemen, this is what I call a "clutch eruption" or 爆極力子. You may do maintenance on the car. You may service your brakes, change your brake fluid, engine oil, radiator coolant, tires, suspension, any other thing that make your car as safe as possible... but nobody will check your clutch It seems like every month there is always something happen to take my hard earned money away QUOTE(dares @ Jun 15 2012, 07:48 PM) David, your Falken tires is what model? Tayar... Just now saw a first gen Kancil, driven by a young lady, corner like a boss Followed me through a 90 degrees turn with impressive speed, lost her for a while when going up a slope. Then on the next S-curve I encountered traffic, and she blew pass me on the right lane I have a Kancil 660 also. I can do 0-60miles in 3.8minutes, don't ask me what I mod to the car, because I'll only tell you I've changed to open pod but that's it. QUOTE(lhwj @ Jun 16 2012, 12:11 AM) EWP bro. Not many is doing it now due to rampant warranty claims. |

QUOTE(lhwj @ Jun 16 2012, 01:59 AM) Another interesting, but unfortunate story. Guess a replacement clutch will cost a few hundred? No it's not my BLM, its a 2001 Plotong Fila 1.3 VDO fuel injection project car. Just trying to tell people don't take things as granted, as the clutch itself is ONE OF MANY things that TERomit to check during service, and therefore wear and tear may not made known. What's your mileage again? If I'm not mistaken it's only about half of mine? Any chance of the previous owner trashing the clutch? I double-declutch all my downshifts. It's a habit I picked up while learning to drive this Gaga (my first manual tranny car) because I read that it'll save wear and tear on the tranny synchronisers. But I wonder if that's at the expense of increased wear and tear on the clutch. So far my clutch's bite is still pretty strong, I don't need to rev up when starting up slopes. Wear & tear on clutch is more severe for DD and H&T drivers indeed, but there are no proof of saving the synchronizers. I seldom do H&T nowadays as seldom keep hai RPM(unless test driving/trashing/ricing). However, I still do DD to all my cars. Reason being, I don't like to clutch the damn car during corner, I rather use engine brake as I can accelerate anytime, otherwise I'll just maintain 20in/hg throughout the whole corner. My case of eruption is because of the harsh acceleration after clutched QUOTE(dares @ Jun 16 2012, 02:49 AM) Yes. The thing is damn awesome. Thank you very much. Again I oiled it up with WD40, took out the original and replaced with it. It sounded pretty good. Can't seem to save petrol, as it sounded too good, everytime I hook up with the car I'll go full throttle |

Steering not turning back, could be worn off steering bush. I know you'll say your car only 1 month old, but its all depend on luck & also driving style + road condition. Please send back for warranty, if no warranty, pls send to Kemuning Utama Teoh Brothers Toyo Tyre, look for 4eyed uncle say recommended by YauYip. 2 pieces of silicone steering bush RM80! Precise cornering, extreme in response! Haily recommended! Am a satisfied + happy customer, and 100% not affiliated.

QUOTE(banoriginal @ Jun 17 2012, 08:06 PM) Need some advise~~~ Seriously flen, 1.3 vs 1.6 not much of a difference in terms of powah outfut. Take note BLM doesn't launch consumer unit, may be converted from taxi, beware of super wear & tear.im going to out a 2nd hand blm share with my bro... i do some research at mudah this 2 car not bad.... blm 1.3 reg10 30-35k mil http://www.mudah.my/Proton+Saga+1+3+M+hi+line-15995865.htm i like the out look another 1 is 1.6... with woofer gps 16ich sport rim but a simple out look http://www.mudah.my/Proton%20Saga%201.6%20...htm#xtor=AD-32-[16094525] 1.3 and 1.6 much different? if u buy used BLM, atleast get a full spec 1.3. I'm a little regret to save 2/3k from the purchase price & get a kosong car. Comes to think of it, sportrims alone ady cost me a bomb... Further that, did asked about the door lining for GaGa, original will cost 200+ Last but not least, air bag is an essential safety feature. You can never trust an after market/later add on air bag to your car. If you get a kosong spec, u never know whether the air bag deployed before |

For the bulk order peeps
![]() It hook at the strut, the extra point hook at the hood hinge ![]() Reduce chassis flex just like any other strut bar. You may not notice it because it basically doesn't affect your daily driving as you wouldn't pull 1.5G side drift. I use it more of a tool to protect the shape of my chassis over long term. ![]() Regardless aggressive corner attack, or normal daily driving kena batu/masuk longkang, strut bar is there to maintain your strut distance ![]() Some said strut bar make your car total loss. If the side impact happened to be able to transfer load to the other side of the strut via a strut bar, that accident itself did total loss your car, be it with or without a strut bar. Without the strut bar on the same accident, the same amount of force will transfer to your a-pillar, directly pull your roof down, and your car still total loss(and you could die because of that). With the strut bar, there is a greater chance you survive, as part of the impact force got transferred to the otherside of the strut tower, and ofcourse the car STILL total loss.
