what's the use of that?
*
In the hope to slash away few kgs on the accessories belt, less cold aircon, less efficient power steering, less effective water pump in order to achieve better FC & also earlier torque can be squeeze out. However, bad for hill climb blink.gif

Good read

Ur is lighten pulley right? Or underdrive pulley? hmm.gif
*
Currently,

Underdrive+lighten aircon pulley, lighten alternator pulley , underdrive powersteering pulley.

Crank pulley will be looking for lighten pulley ONLY, and not considering underdrive since I'm underdriving the aircon already. Not ready to give up alternator and powersteering in the long run.

Would like to find out if any of you guys already hooked up adjustable cam pulleys & lighten/underdrive crank pulley. notworthy.gif

...,eventually vttr brakes are almost as good as brembo, but i dun tink all of u know wat is vttr,as long is proven and the quality is there...
*
nod.gif My THEN KE-20 ordered VTTR(more than a decade ago) to made a small twin pot and mail it all the way to my house. I have not try a BREMBO on my KE-20, but indeed I'm satisfied with their caliper, disc & pad. Only 1 word to describe, FAWESOME!

QUOTE(coolkwc @ Jun 25 2012, 04:39 PM)
My brake pedal vibrate when high speed under braking... hmm.gif
*
Warped disc rotor. Send for skin a layer, RM35/side(some lower price can go down to RM20/side. 2 types of sifu do thing,

1) Sifu unhook the caliper, replace with a forged diamond knife shredding your disc rotor by engaging 1st gear/D. This type of skin is more like ON WHEEL balancing. Advantage is, it gave more accurate, down to earth accuracy of skinning a brake. It will balanced out the rest of the vibration in effect with bearing wear & tear. Disadvantage is, the sifu uses his manual observation to decide how much you need to shred sweat.gif It felt like every time you shred the disc, half a MM of the disc thickness gone. Besides, after shredding the disc surface might not be as smooth as a CD.

2) Take out the disc rotor, send for re-machine. This is the ultimate and more expansive way to do. It's strongly advised to change wheel bearing together. After knocking/pump the bearing out, nobody can make sure whether the bearing is bent during the eject process blink.gif You get to service everything 1 shot. You'll get a total balance from wheel bearing, disc rotor rebalance, smooth disc surface just like a piece of CD. Because of proper measurement being made before re-machine, less thickness will be shred away. A more proper way to repair a warp disc rotor. Disadvantage, sofa king expansive to replace everything 1 shot. Not many working willingly to do it for you.

Or, buy a set of new rotor and fit it in. If your disc can be bent, there is a very good chance you bend it again the next time you hit a puddle with hot brakes. Number of times you shred it, rotor become thinner and easier to bend. It's a give and take.

*
Drive between 80~100kmh in Kesas is pretty safe. No saman from that stretch so far, am a survivor. Someone...namely V12k laugh.gif did 160kmh at COsE exit

QUOTE(17osm17 @ Jun 25 2012, 11:49 PM)
i highly doubt that stuff will make ur engine noise quieter. engine noise protrude into the cabin mostly through firewall area.
*
It doesn't make the engine bay quieter even a tiny little bit. However, it does solve some resonating & vibration sound. I didn't install it on my BLM, but I have experience with all my Iswaga and Wiga. Bonnet no more dancing ady after install laugh.gif

Added on June 26, 2012, 1:44 amMeanwhile, just finishes a tank of PETRON BLAZE 95 on my Iswaga...

Not meh? Can't remember exactly where la laugh.gif Regardless, no matter what corner 160kmh is just not my appetite. Gymkhana time 80~100kmh hairpin drift ady sked the shiet outta me blush.gif

Spotted overshot double declutch on Pesoga, must be jerk like hell after that blink.gif
Reponsive steering feedback.... blink.gif in my opinion its called NUMB feedback but FAST in action, dangerous
Whilst Fairuz is saying the best entry level car, very light and agile or something... blink.gif then the HOLYMOTHEROFBODYROLL everywhere shakehead.gif

Sorry, its not that Plotong not any good at making their cars, but kamon lah keep on hiding behind the ABC company saying they touch up this la, they touch up that la, hire this sohigh that sohigh say so much of stuff do what? Say la! We're damn proud Malaysian car makers. We've produced our best! Put up the Plotong logo big big when show the HOLYMOTHEROFBODYROLL, instead of showing ABC logo. See how many cars they managed to sell.

Morning everyone.... I saw at maxaudio, they selling it as package for the
Hood sound dampeners + armrest + simota air filter

All for 270.... Feels not worth it....

Anyone used simota air filter b4? Or k&n one better?
*
Have both KNN & SIMOTA. Wash them every month, anyone time got replacement laugh.gif

Both lag in response, KNN faster dirty than Simota. Decided not use oil ady after learnt the oil may clog up the O2 sensor. Rinsed filter into detergent to remove oil(void life time warranty for KNN).

Overall, didn't feel much improvement at all. Placebo effect does a lot, suction sound, better mid range torque, everything is on butt dyno for the time being.

Simota 130
KNN 230

Ohh... LIke that i feel simota more worth it then ^^

BTW, what is placebo effect?
*
Placebo, unreal but you have it in your mind because of advertisement/prejudice. For performance filter, normally they advertise 10% gain in horse power. So when u hook up the filter, immediately you felt the car 10% faster, but the actual fact is bcoz you slam the gas pedal harder laugh.gif
