Yes, the black one is chrome, while the white one is black. Not sure about Red, haven't seen the actual unit.

yes sadly its those in-your-face ah beng-shiny-only-when-new fake chrome that cheapened the look of the pure design (my taste only, does not apply to everyone)..would have bought the black if the whole thing is black, just like the white and red.

the point of the post is not about mac or hires wallpaper, they are just his illustrations. it's about him sharing his experience and realization of the importance of getting a good camera for those who care about preserving good quality photos in their library and not completely rely on the perceived quality from their smartphone's screen.
