and your previous post about screen breaking scare me d since i can be clumsy at times. based on videos where they do drop tests, the gorilla glass tend to break when the screen fall flat on the floor  doh.gif .
oo...ic
i'm not too particular on apps since i'm a 5800xm user who uses mainly for call, sms and taking ninjashots :|

most phones drop today will break, the good thing about gorilla glass compared to normal glass is that it usually can absorbs the first few drops without any sign of crack visible on the glass, but internally the glass bond are weaken and already fractured (they called it the internal bleeding). like my friend, he drop few times already, not a scratch but the last time, the glass all smashed because even with a low drop. as for non-gorilla glass, they first drop will usually crack straightaway.

make sure you apply a good screen protector it helps. it depends in many situation not every time it drops face down and directly to a sharp point on the floor. My N8 drops so many times and until today still works great.

It is also a good smartphone, but not the best. But it does have the best camera, period.
Buy a phone based on your usage. If you use the smartphone portion (apps, web) a lot more and once in a while use the camera, you're better off with something else.

I think its best for the followings:

1. camera obviously
2. Phone Calls with its usual nokia great phone audio quality.
3. internet radio listening at your leisure
4. Alarm clock ( nokia phone can turn off and still wake itself up in the morning and sound the alarm! Its one of those features non-nokia users would never know. Me included initially. )
5. Music player that include Flac files (need a third party apps). Don't forget it has good audio quality thru headphone too.
6. video recorder in full HD with very sensitive high dynamic mic system.
7. Don't ever forget GPS, and a good ones too, all for free !
8. The free apps handle all the microsoft files natively as it comes with Microsoft office system for free too.
9. Nokia play display movie and photos via wireless wifi to the home DLNA devices. It works.
10. Some useful apps. Not much choice, but its there, serve the basic functions.

So I would suggest it to be a very useful phone, but its good to have another tablet for further games, CCTV watching, document/blog writing, photo editing, playing angry birds, One Utama apps, etc etc

certainly the best part of Nokia 808 PureView! gps very fast yo, music stays simple but very satisfying audio quality! (with Dolby Headphones but sometimes I off this setting)
Nokia Belle is very simple and it suits me, I try HTX One X is very complicated I rather throw it away on the dust bin brows.gif

Or, if don't mind carry 2 device. Can get a cheap iPod Touch, and enjoy all the iOS games. It's basically just like an iPhone, just much more slimmer, smaller battery and no phone function.
But hey, now you don't need to worry about people call you and disrupt your gaming half way, don't need to worry you battery when you need to make use it as a phone... and it comes with camera and GPS too, you can install PapaGo and some other maps. The iPod Touch is very also very slim and it's only about 1/3 of the price of iPhone. The drawback might be there's no sim card for data usage, have to rely on WiFi.

If don't mind carry bigger device, there's iPad, Android Tablets, etc.

I mean, if apps/games is the main priority, it's not a must to be in a phone, unless you only want to carry, ONE and ONLY ONE device and want it to do everything. Then, you have to sacrifice some features.

Ya same to pureview. Our pureview unit comes with phone sim card without data service package at all. It detects GPS very well on the road.

GPS no need sim card... my iPod Touch also no sim card ma.

I'm saying for those need to use data for internet when there is no WiFi available. Like for iPad, some people choose 3G version so they can online or play online games even no WiFi.
