First off let me start by saying that I am in no way affiliated with this company, merely sharing my experience.
I just bought a PS4 on Lazada, decided to give it a go despite many negative reviews because it had the COD option (which seems relatively safe since I won't lose anything) and I had a discount code which made it really cheap. Placed my order on Wednesday night (Around 11.30pm) and received an email saying that my item has been shipped and should arrive within 2-4 days on Thursday.
I expected to receive my package on Saturday or Monday as they apparently shipped it out after 5pm. Imagine my surprise when I received a phone call from the delivery guy from Ta-Q-Bin the next morning saying that he's arriving within 5 minutes. I did ask him whether I could inspect the items first but he insisted that I pay first and settle any discrepancies with Lazada. I was slightly put off but thought that maybe it had to do with some customers returning/refusing to accept the items lol. Fair enough, I paid him the cash and he released the item to me.
My PS4 arrived in good condition and everything works fine, however I am very disappointed that even though the page definitely stated "SEA Warranty", the set I received is from Hong Kong and the warranty isn't covered here in Malaysia. The barcode sticker (put on by Lazada I suppose) also mentions it as "PS4 Glacier White (SEA Warranty)". I suppose it's something that I can live with though so I'll just leave it at that. After all the price is really low lol.
TL;DR : My first experience with Lazada went relatively well, received my item within 2 days of ordering. Item received does not match description 100%, although it is in good working condition. Always opt for COD for peace of mind.
FYI PS4 Console, HK set = Asia set mah, Lengcai.
You should register the warranty with your ASIA PSN ID.
Just surf to official playstation website and login with your ASIA PSN ID, then register your PS4 Console in your Account with the PS4 serial number on the packing box.
Then you would get the warranty as promised.
However you would not claim the warranty directly from your buying merchant, as it gives you slower process since you have to send your faulty hardware (if so) at your cost and the Merchant may have to charge you as they same need the cost to send back to SONY Service Centre.
The warranty is direct to SONY official SERVICE CENTRE which is major locate at SONY official STORE.
Once you have your hardware record in your PSN Profile, you can send the claim direct to SONY SERVICE CENTRE anytime if faulty by the warranty period offered.
It is not regarding any warranty to the Merchant, sadly to say.
For me, the warranty can gain from KLCC SONY Service Centre if you are in KL. And mostly it takes up 3 weeks to return from RMA.
