I have no idea.. should be ok as long as it doesn't affect your gaming experience. laugh.gif

It could be nvidia driver throttling it in furmark or it didn't get enough juice from power supply. I reckon its the former. hmm.gif

Is there a noticeable difference between hd(1366x768) and full-hd(1920x1080) on 15 inch laptop?

This beast is perfect if it comes with full hd resolution.

Yes, the difference is extremely tangible unfortunately sad.gif
Well, you can still consider the MSI GE60 and Asus G55vw, even though their more expensive...
Otherwise, just get this, and pair it up with a good external monitor~
The GPU in this beast is quite capable thumbup.gif

15" notebooks usually only last around 2.5 hours with a 6-cell battery hmm.gif
The Y580 doesn't have Nvidia Optimus right? hmm.gif

I was told that we can hardly notice the difference between HD and Full-HD on a 15 inch monitor though unless you're processing some really high-resolution pictures.
Just hope that lenovo will release the model with a Full-HD variant.

if you're used to desktop reso and 1366x768 you will feel cramped initially. afterwards, things will work out. higher resolution in the same size yields better image quality though things will get smaller(not the case for FPS games)

The Y580 should have optimus... and also from theverge it's supposed to give up to 5 hours of battery life... the figure seems to be different for deepcool here.

If it has Optimus then it should be able to last up to around 3.5-4 hours or so? hmm.gif
