This HU/Headlamp/Roof top lamp blinking/dimming is becoming a common thing edy.. Need to check thoroughly with the meow team... :sigh:

But their response towards everybody who went to CoSE and met with them is kinda 'soft' like a cat. Plus not being able to answer properly about the problem & giving standard answer is totally not what we expected.

Proton actually issued a "recall campaign" without announcing it (secretly)?
What can a plastic cover harm to the car that they need to issue a "recall campaign" to remove it?


Not sure if these side mirrors were link to BCM or the security alarm system? I believe many things are programmable.

My friend complain about his CR-V unlock the car door too soon (pull handbrake and doors unlock), he don't like this, so he go Honda SC, they re-programmed by pushing and clicking a few buttons very easily, and now his door will unlock when switching off the engine.

So I believe this car be fix, question is, does anyone actually ask about this at any SC? What's the answer?

EDIT: I think you prefer this behavior right?


Mine do the same too, long time already!
I noticed this:
My HU were set to change "night color" (black background) when I switch on the headlight.
When the "flashing" occurred, it is flashing white color, which is day mode.
I was in doubt if this "flashing" has something to do with day / night mode color scheme or the headlight switch or sensor?

In case someone like to know, I did not set the headlight to Auto, I prefer manual, but HU also "flashing".

My SA did the JPJ registration for me first (I don't know morning or afternoon).
Evening, I meet SA at used car dealer to pass my old car to the dealer.
Then the used car dealer only issue a cheque for my SA.
SA then take me to his showroom, show and explain features of the car to me.
We then go into the office, we had coffee, then he let me sign the documents.
He then show me a list of his calculations, and how much I still have to pay him.
I pay him the money, before I go out, I saw a nice keychain and ask why he never give that to me.
He said office clerk gone home already, told me no problem and come take it tomorrow.
The next evening, I visit his showroom after work, his office clerk also gone home already.
But he already got the keychain from his clerk earlier, then he handed over the keychain to me.

Until today, I have no complain to this SA, even willing to recommend him to whoever interest.

A recall doesn't necessarily mean have to make it publicly.

That is an internal recall, meaning, all SC getting memo on the part to be changed.

not only Proton does it, other automakers do it as well.

just received my silver preve today. so far so good except the lag response from stand still. im not pedal to metal person, but the necessity to press it harder to move is not really good for my leg.

i think of going to see meow team for 1st service. now 16 km ODO only. hehe

im from melaka. how long is the queue for service by meow team? im willing to go all the way there from melaka. i will write a list of problem for them.

take half day leave or whole day....incase they have alot of other preve that they need to rectify on the same day.... make appoinment to them early. says want the earliest. at 8am usually. prepare your snack. some books to read or some psp game to play. usually will be after 12 noon... fastest... if not maybe have to wait until 3 or 5pm. please dont make appoinment on friday...you will need to deduct 2 hours.

I think for your case, it has to do with the headlight switch and HU light setting.

If you set your HU light to auto, it will automatically change from day mode to night mode when switch on your headlight.

If you don't want it to change automatically, just set your HU light either at day mode or night mode.
