I think they should stop taking anymore bookings for CFE and start focusing on fixing all our issues first. There are sufficient owners of CFE to test for them already. Its getting too hot to handle for the CAT.

After my 1k service, I put in full tank and drive gently. Every block constitute 40km. With 2 blocks remaining, I have done 240km. I reset the average fuel too. It now shows 13.9 liters / 100km and average speed 22km/h. I am sure there is no improvement at all after they reset ecu.

I left my car idle for 40 hours, yesterday discharged from hospital, I started the engine and it overcrank at 12:30pm. I manage to record it using voice recorder and will present it to PE next week.

This morning start the engine and it sounds normal again. They should modify something to prevent the engine oil from draining completely when you do not start your car for 2 days.

My Altis never have this problem although I did not start for 2 Weeks!

Edit: maybe safehouse is working there....hmm

I think the Preve would have been rolled out later if DRB-Hicom had not purchased Proton in January? icon_idea.gif

This give more time for them to fine tune the car, feels like it was rush job and worst thing is the Preve Project Manager ie. Dr Wolfgang resigned before the car was launched..then followed by other top management. With core of the team gone, what can we expect?

I think the current mgmt is probably clueless about the car because they were not directly involved in the project in the 1st place.

To make matters worst, Proton's corp comm dept is hopeless not doing enough to generate positive publicity about Preve...which is why we have so many and sometimes unfounded horror story about Preve quality. Proton is not quick to come out to clarify on the problems ie. OWV problem, welding, interior quality, boot, engine sluggishness.

All they know to say is that we have receive 10k bookings doh.gif I think it could be more if they have actually marketed it properly and ensure the car really fits the motto "Committed to Be Better"

Just my 2 cents.

Yup. SC refuse to acknowledge my problem during 1st service. I did tell them to check my aps level. They just reset ecu.
I will go there again and pressure them this time. I still suspect the culprit is owv.

The OWV problem is not new, already discovered in Exora Bold, funny that it was not resolved before Preve was launched. hmm.gif

What say you Proton?

rick, i also having the OWV problem currently, but my FC from the day i took my car, it went down from 12.2 to present 10.7 l/100km.

Cannot be that high, shocking.gif ask kiapreve what the SC did on his car. improve alot. nod.gif

I also find if i pumped Shell ron95, i will get from 330 to 380km per full tank. If i pumped petronas ron 95, i will get 400 - 435 km per full tank. I will try others after i finished my full tank. That will be my 11th full tank. smile.gif

received my car yesterday!!!

Problem that i found on my car

1. As known, i'm still trying to adapt to the sluggish response
2. Paint crack and chip off on my spot welding...sad...touch up this saturday. also got one paint chip off at near to driver side door
3. did not feel any good sound proofing from outside as i can hear all the motorcycle passing by clearly...will feedback to my SA or during 1k service..

other than that, everything else looks good for now...i like the darken wood panel compare to what i saw from the test drive car...

to be honest i'm scared with my new car bro.. always hope there's no additional problem as what others owners facing.. i luv my preve so much.. but i'm not expecting too many issue from it.. 3 or 4 minor issue (not involving engine erea) still okay.. 73k money is lot for me.. but the proton qc always fail to ensure the delivered product to costumer is in good condition..

just my 2cent..
