i think is it something like this.

just press the toggle to instant.
when you at flat road. running at around 90kmph with rpm around 1.7 to 1.8krpm you will be able to see it is around 6.2~6.4~6.6

if go down hill...u try to not press the accelerator it will turn into slowly go down. to 5 ~ 3 ~ 2 then - - - which means no oil use.

if car from 0 u put from N to D without stepping on accelerator it will be around 99.9l/100km then it go down to 22L ~ 30L if it needs to go up hill from 0 it will be around 40 something...

if hill gradient not so high. travel around 80kmph ~ 90 kmph with rpm around 2k or 2.2k rpm. it will be around 8 to 10 L/100km

The instant is that point of moment the oil consumption happening...so if everyone of us can go to all types of road by using 6.6L i would agree the average we will be getting 6.6l/100km

Hmmm i got something want to share...there are two occasion my brake feel so hard to press. usually happen during cold start.

early morning when i slot in the key fob and before press the Power on button we need to press the brake pedal. i only manage to press down like 1 cm or 2 cm not even 1 inch. normally the brake pedal will go down around 2 inch before finally come to stop. now when i press the on button. it seems hard to start abit like cranking sound longer but at the end it manage to start.


you can try this as well. press the on button longer time the crancking sound will be longer too. if press immediately release the power on button you will notice a quick cranck then it will start. So is also depend on your finger how fast you lift from the power on button i think.

you guys encounter this before?

not yet. appointment is this friday at cose. 8.00 am

observed mine no such thing as when slow speed the FC goes higher..i think that reading is faulty. need go SC check.

Last week went to COSE 15 June. Appointment at 8am...but i am a little bit late reach at 8.25am

So ...waited for very long time finally only manage to get my car at o'clock.
Should not make appointment on Friday. Got prayer so have to wait extra few hours.

If plan to go normal service. Usually will be 1 hour or 1.5 hours will finish but if customer request to check the service agent told me each fault they have 1 hour to solved. i dunno is this B.S or their normal SLA. so I have 6 item the max hour i wait is 6 hours.

8.30am~12 noon work. 12 ~ 2.30pm lunch time plus prayer so 2.30 ~4 pm work. at 4 sharp they give me car. Actually if i don't say something they might be giving back my car at 5.00pm i don't want cause scare of jam. There is several occasion i saw my car unattended i thought finish already. Very little update from the new service agent. He told me he is new and just work last Saturday... i think should be 9th July..but Saturday cose got open meh? i wonder..

*To all Preve owner. Next time must take the SA number and the technician number. I don't even have the chance to meet the technician don't even know his name and phone number. Easier for you to call them and ask they finish their job already or not.

So this is the few things i have ask / claim waranty:

1) Gear Lever Knob Cap Loose### Replaced part to part done

2) Brake Disc got damage### I think due to i ask want car need go home early avoid jam the SA told me they dont have stock need to order come back and change next service...

3) When on aircond got cracking sound### ventilator rework

4) Dashboard Rattling sound ### repair all clip area (This one not sure if they really repair or tighten. the amount of vibration lesser. still have but very very very minimal) Usually last time from 0 to 1.8k rpm it will vibrate sound now dont have. last time when 1.8k car running while going up hill press more to reach 2.2k it will have vibration and now still got but very very small sound can be heard. )

5) Fuel Consumption ### Normal (i already ask them to look at APS opening is it 100% i think the cat team also dunno what is APS. It is ABS braking system wont effect fuel consumption...he told me..) So i told him maybe you need to plug in Computer check at the ECU there if there is any APS setting...he say will look into it. i just walk to CAT team office and bump to a guy and that guy says ok ok will ready by 4.00pm cause i already wait since 8.30am until 3pm++)

6) C Pillar got noise when travel 90 ~ 100km ### repair (one word repair but i dunno what is it being repaired...the service agent explain to me they already sit in the car bring the car out for a spin and already repair they affected area. I dunno wind noise reduce or not need people seat behind let me know. the wind sound i will never notice only passenger behind can let me know if there is any sound. even close radio or close air cond front driver very hard to hear wind noise cause we got CVT noise cannot hear the wind noise actually unless the rear passenger complain only we know)

Thats about it. No ECU remap. No disc brake change. No APS opening 100% check ..just assume it is normal

Base on the reciept when i am done with my 1k service they put there. 6038 is my next service. cause my mileage that time is 1038

But on the 15 june last week i went to make warranty claim and request some checking on some issue. without any oil change they put next service is 80,78. cause my milage already 3078...

I need to know if what they mean on the service booklet is the same as those old car that have went through every 5 k service.

it say 1k ~240k is the routine service record.

and another page is at severe usage.
5k, 15k, 25k.

Which one suppose to follow? let say if i follow the first one. my next service suppose to be in 10k....

if i follow the second one i next one suppose to be 5k. so 1038 plus 5k is 6038. or should i go exactly when my odo reach 5000 sharp?

let say 1k 5 k and 10k compulsory. if i continue use fully synthetic i just need to come every 10k means after 10k i add another 10k each time.

if i go at 6038 the next 10k service will be at 16038...if i go sharp at 5000 my next service will be 15k...

or is it 5k go service 10k go service and then next is 20k...follow exactly the odometer?

...200km daily...how to drive... your work place is so far away... jalan pahang can do things faster? COSE must take half day leave. 8.00am reach at least 12 only can get car if got complain. if not complain normal service can finish within an hour or 1.5 hours. time. Cose got lots of bay. but mechanic very limited...if all bays got 30 mechanic or more then will be no problem.

take half day leave or whole day....incase they have alot of other preve that they need to rectify on the same day.... make appoinment to them early. says want the earliest. at 8am usually. prepare your snack. some books to read or some psp game to play. usually will be after 12 noon... fastest... if not maybe have to wait until 3 or 5pm. please dont make appoinment on friday...you will need to deduct 2 hours.

hmmm...i manage to clock 551km with one full tank. remaining 55km petrol blinking cause got go outstation trip to malacca. average i now getting at 29km. 10l/100km. usually i will travel 100~110. sometimes step bit more for overtake. just few seconds usually overtake one car. normally town or normal highway i will be travelling around 80~90kmph. i just put in full tank bhp petrol. after pour in my full tank shows 777...if i can get even 700 i am happy.

My first topspeed achieve also 200kmph... "d mode"at mex...i can say i cannot..i dont dare to go further. just last a few second...maybe around 4 or 5 sec in that topspeed.. is too fast for me. the meter shows that fast the car still stable infront got no car...just enough for me to lift my pedal and slowly getting nearer to infront cars without hitting brake.

about the gluk gluk sound i dunno i have or not..or maybe too minimal until i cannot hear it...can someone record it let us know how the sound like share it in here. i think i tried several time..close radio close aircond. only driving no gluk gluk sound. from 0 to 20kmph. or from 60 ~ 80kmph fast also 90 ~ 110 also dont have this sound only sound now visible is...the spring absorber sound after park car when you want go out from the car can hear the sound already.

* p.s..go to the back of your bumper...have a quick peek down below...near the ekzos....if you notice there is two metal steel that holds the ekzos...can you see anything rust there....i think mine is badly rust already.

yes very much. consider a 200% upgrade from my old daihatsu charade 1.3 16 valve.

Added on June 22, 2012, 12:46 ammine is 1070. one of the few early batch one. luckily i still dont have that owv problem. start car easy. few minor things like gear lever cap tercabut, air cond some sound and dashboard some sound. after all being rectify. the only thing left is my disc plate got one very deep line. on the front left side. other than that...not yet discover or not yet come out. maybe sooner or later will slowly come out. the thing is 73k is very expensive for me. but i already give myself expectations not too high but at least i know i am buying malaysian made car. proton. this is my first proton car. so even got problem i already ready for it. i just hope that it wont fail tengah jalan then ok already. if our QC is better if our material is better i am sure most of us will support malaysia made cars.

see japan people how they support thier own brand, toyota honda mazda nissan. hardly you can see them buy other country car. but cannot compare la they get their best quality there but send out other country sell lower quality. here in malaysia terbalik. best one other country..not that good qc one for us malaysia.

ya will try tomorrow see if it comes out any sound..but i am sure is a spring sound. i not sure that bonnet extra spring..can bring any harm or any more orchestra sound... but it is very convenient. no need use hand to push... hope it will not open fast and hard...will there be like slow motion open?

should give free for all first 10k plus units.

shine & wax is same term... after shampoo..u will feel your your car paint surface very very smooth...like dolphin skin. after all that use a dry fiber cloth to wipe then u just drop your fiber cloth on top of the hood...and u will see it will slide down to the floor....same like u use head and shoulder to your hair...then u use comb put it at your hair and it will glide down effortless

yes little bit more. it will reach 2500. i saw a scratch at the back of my car today...maybe just realize it. i think some people dunno how to park car and scratch my car. whole paint came out. very deep. 4 cm length 0.5 cm wide. can see black color already.... i dunno all car is it the paint very thin layer.....or is it proton color they paint thinner... i just wish there is some auto heal paint technology....paint will grow back.
