To those who are not able to pair their samsung smartphone with the HU unit. Try changing the phone name from GT-XXXX to Samsung S2 , S3, Ace, W because HU unit cannot identify GT-XXXX. I had the same problem and solve it by changing the phone name.

Some car owners have dust in their paint, not sure how it happens but it is there. Discovered it while doing SG. In addition, notice that the spoiler paint colour and car paint colour is different. It is because the spoiler is glued to the car.

Camry is a different class than Preve. To compare altis and preve would be better. Vios can be compared with Saga FL, FLX.

Of course, Preve could improve the fit and finish. I am not complaining about the plastic just that in certain parts it it quite flimsy.

For cvt, not much complain there, the car was bought for ride and handling. I can only afford Preve and buy Preve. If you can afford camry, buy camry. You pay what you get. Just my 2 cents

There was no proper after sales service for Preve, too many technology in the car and the Management forgot to train the engineers on how to fix the problems. Either that, the management rely too much on CAT which is a bad thing, do you mean that if lets say owner in Batu Pahat have problem in Preve only CAT can solve, means need to come back to fix.

If the silent Proton people are reading this, take note and improve on after sales service.

I think buying car is like marrying a girl that we love. We love the woman and accept whatever flaws that she have. We love our Preve and whatever problems that comes along, we can find solution to it.

But for wife, you cannot re-invest...haha

I think the Preve would have been rolled out later if DRB-Hicom had not purchased Proton in January?

This give more time for them to fine tune the car, feels like it was rush job and worst thing is the Preve Project Manager ie. Dr Wolfgang resigned before the car was launched..then followed by other top management. With core of the team gone, what can we expect?

I think the current mgmt is probably clueless about the car because they were not directly involved in the project in the 1st place.

To make matters worst, Proton's corp comm dept is hopeless not doing enough to generate positive publicity about Preve...which is why we have so many and sometimes unfounded horror story about Preve quality. Proton is not quick to come out to clarify on the problems ie. OWV problem, welding, interior quality, boot, engine sluggishness.

All they know to say is that we have receive 10k bookings I think it could be more if they have actually marketed it properly and ensure the car really fits the motto "Committed to Be Better"

The OWV problem is not new, already discovered in Exora Bold, funny that it was not resolved before Preve was launched.
