Attention guys, Thundergod_cid(local Threebond seller) and Mxsteven's(KilleRom developer) proton waja just got stolen on 12th June, 1230am at Fireball Cafe, Jalan Menara Gading 1, CHERAS.

It's pretty hard to miss with its chameleon green/purple colour complete with R3 bodykit and large intercooler upfront with 17" dark bronze rims.

The car was fitted with Steelmate 898g alarm which most of you probably know and both fuel pump cut and ignition cut system of the alarm had been wired. Even so, according to eye witness reports, the thief managed to break in, start the engine and drive away in less than a minute without the alarm going off. Just to warn you guys that although the Steelmate 898g is pretty advanced, to professionals its nothing. Just a friendly reminder that no matter what alarm you install, there's still a risk that your car getting stolen so beware.

sound's like an inside job. previous owner maybe.

Add: the car was also fitted with a GSM tracker which also got disable.

This is the second Waja within 6 months to be stolen from LYNFnF Waja members, AFAIK. The Waja seems to be a hot item right now. Demit, Steven poured so many hours on that car

I hav posted before.. my friends parents working in investigation department police told.. ever since mitsu waja replaced with campro.. suddenly waja mitsu become 1 of thief target in their top 5 list of local car to hijack.. haven't meet him lately to ask about the figures but that time (around 2006) he told me already lots of waja stolen cases in klang valley area

If you've read the cardomain page which you claimed, you'll know that many of the mods done to this car including the whole carpc system and soundproofing was done by Steven HIMSELF. What mod shop? There are many shops the car was sent to so I don't see how this post is advertising a particular mod shop plus I didn't even mention any shop name in the post. The reason I posted the link was because I'm using my phone to post this as I don't have access to a proper computer so I couldn't upload all the pics in the cardomain page so I just linked it there as there are more photos there. Everybody thinks nobody would want to steal a local car but do you know that local cars, especially satria, wira and wajas are at the top of a thief's hot list?

maybe next time we should just take out ECU fuse from the fuse box.

Or for those with piggyback, do a connector so we can take and carry out the piggyback ECU whenever we park.

LOL! Anyway, my car stolen on 18th of March so next week will be 3 months ngam ngam.. That time I will go kacau my insurance agent already.. Due that my waja was not actually under my name, and my name was not in the insurance policy too, insurance gonna deduct another 3xx or 4xx from my insurance claim. Car insured value is RM18k, so expecting to get back 14k (80% of insured value).

I afraid this car might be cannibalized. Last time my friend's modded Satria GTi was stolen at Bangi and found at Batu Pahat stripped down...

Latest update. Just checked on the crime site and here's a photo of where he parked. He parked at where the car on the right is



the place so damn bright and so many ppl get pass yet they still daring enough to steal the car. After checking back the cctv, they came in a Naza Ria parked next to the car then they somehow managed to enter through the passenger side and one minute later we saw both signal lights blinking as if the alarm was triggered but the siren and remote didn't go off. 10 seconds later they drove off with the car.

Seems like they targeted the car. They seem to know bout the gsm alarm and steelmate on it. Probably they had been stalking on the forum.

The thing is nobody knows about the gsm tracker, literally nobody, yet it still got bypassed. Still trying to brain how the hell they managed to bypass all the safety systems installed.

Yeah just keep an eye out for the car, steven and elton will definitely appreciate it

probably the thiefs had prior experience already...

be careful of your car ar....put few layer lock on your car...
include a big chain on your rim and tyre or watever lar...
if like that then they need time to unlock everything...=)

Could it be the installer of GSM Tracker?
The installer knows how to uninstall/deactivate, in my opinion.

Im the one who is the most painful guy.... there is so much memory with the car and this car enter before CAR PC show in Bangkok and also this car did not give me any issue when i drove to Burma.

Simply too much memory, Elton had his 1st ride on this car when i 1st bought......

I read this somewhere, this person car has been stolen. Suddenly he remember about his phone inside the car. Contct telco to detect his phone location and found his car.

If you left your phone inside the car, maybe telco can detect the location

Still no news.... yesterday when Weng called me and told me he saw the burn waja chassis on the lorry was heading inside Len Seng area.... after he chased the lorry and stopped the lorry like Hero style then found out its a Merc C200 Chassis lols.... and kena scolded by the lorry driver kaw kaw...

I really appreciate his help but please dont put yourself in the risk... it is not worth it... If you see something like this next time... just snap a photo or follow discreetly until u estimated knows where the car will be stopping.
