Last time when I only using Nokia I thought this is the truth. But when I bought other phone brand (not *phone), the company is worst. Take forever to update their software while Nokia, since I bought my N8 almost 2 years ago, have several major update with it so call dying OS. Why need to trade-in? Just use the phone till the end la... with new update, it give new life to the phone.

May I ask, which other phone manufacturer are you comparing Nokia with? IMO Nokia service though not perfect, overall can be considered good. They even have a Live Chat function on their website whereby you do interactive conversation to sort matters out.

Nokia as a brand itself is worth quite a lot, but the phones themselves ain't worth a lot because it's built based on a dying OS which makes them unattractive to resell.
Still, could be worse... But if Nokia really go bust, you would really see Google n Apple fighting hard to buy its IP.
