I already tired to folllow the schedule, will go in 3-5 months depending on hitting 5K mileage. Using 2 cars so divide up the mileage.

For lube, in our hot and humid weather (consider severe category), I would recommend changing lube in 6 months period at max, even if you only go 1K mileage. The lube will begin to oxidize, when that happen, it will lose major effectiveness in lubricating and protecting your engine.

The risk is there if one uses over the recommended period but really depends. Ie. food expire after a certain date, does not necessary means its 100% spoil, it's just the manufacturer can longer garantee it is edible anymore, you can risk eating it, chances are its still edible but the risk is there, that it is spoiled, want to eat or not actually up to you, its your health. Same with lube and engine, its up to you to increase the risk of damaging engine or stay safe and change before it got the chance to happen.

On other colder countries, they're some who goes 1 year especially if using fully synthetic lube, but we should always consider all expect including our road, air, weather, dust, etc. Some larger capacity engine in our country can actually go that long but they have much larger storage for engine lube, much better filteration system and mostly using approved and fully tested fully syn (tested for a particular lube using a specific engine thus does not apply for just any lube AND engine).

u sohai.. 10k for turbo with full cooling and specially designed engine meant for turbo and warranty.. The CFE engine and normally non turbo engine is not the same..

Hi all,

Last time i do complain that my brake was creating some noise, till now i also fed up with it already as i approach the mechanic he say the brake is like that. Want to ask if i change it to "Bendix Metal King" will the annoying sound still there?

The sound not happening when start moving, i assume cuz the temperature of the brake still cold, once hot it start creating the sound everytime i brake. I'm not the kind of ppl keep do hard brake, i just need to minimize the annoying sound and once in a while i will go genting.

hi, i would like to ask: when should i go for the 3rd service? 3 or 6 months after the 2nd service?? coz i read the service booklet it stated "10000km or 6 months (whichever occurs first)" but the service center ask me to come back after 3 months.. kinda confused, i'm not so trusted the service center coz last time get conned by add on engine treatment liquid that cost me rm40+ == when later i find out it's not necessary
