Most of you guys havent even seen it IRL, but Underground Racing already came out with a TT kit for this beast here. 0-60 MPH in 2.2 secs.

Problem, Alpha 12 GTR 'fan-see's? whistling.gif

There is no replacement for displacement.. As so famously quoted.. =.=.. 1200+ HP hvnt fine tuned yet.. End result could reach around 1400-1550hp.

With that much HP in the Aventador also not good.. If u were to buy tires made from different batches and fit it to the car, it will cause steering problem effects too.

No worries. Torco TR-5 confirm semi sync.. I wanted to try that after I used AMSOil.. But then the price is very prohibitive.. Might as well go for ChemLube.

How much for Chemlube?  laugh.gif
*
Chemlube FS around RM220 for 4L too.. Chemlube is the purest of the pure FS oil.. Its 100% fully synthetic ester based.. Not refined hydrocracked or PAO.

Yeah no fossil oil at all.. Purely human made and synthesized poly ester base then with additives on top.. The additives might have fossil oil origin though..

43k so far..
Bardhal oil can only use 1-2.5k km.. after that the oil turns into super glue and ur engine feels super heavy.

Then how you're able to use so many different types of engine oil in your car? Assuming you service your car every 5k KMs, your car should be at 50+K KMs now even if you replace Bodoh oil at 2.5k kms..

Bring it to COSE to check.. It might most likely be a Crank Sensor problem.

Did you misquote jasonloh7906's post for mine?

If crank sensor, can I still drive the car? I thought it would stall. But yes, my car did stall at Tun Razak's ramp.

I bought Liqui-Moly for my 5000KM service, which is due this week:

Damage: RM283. Lets just try it tongue.gif

Yeah i mis quoted.. The car will stall.. But normally u can restart the engine if the crank sensor failure is not major or if there was just a slight misread of settings.. Or there was suddenly no data from the sensor.. If it was serious sensor failure then u wont even be able to restart ur engine.

QUOTE(Cavino @ Jun 12 2012, 09:03 AM)
From what I heard Bardhal ok ok for budget FS. However there is A LOT OF FAKE Bardhal in the market. Its actually one of the top fake along side Shell lubes, Castrol, etc. If it turns gluey only after 1-2.5K, it is possible its a fake? Coz that fits the symptom of fake or re-cycled lube with used up addictives.

Added on June 12, 2012, 10:21 am

Question is why does the famed LM lube need to add separate addictive some mores, by itself not sufficient meh....

Also we might use the best true ester-based FS but it still comes down to whether our engine can take it or not. Sometimes, the best does not necessary suit all engines.

Take for example, the Idemitsu FS that I've been vouching for and used in my hondas. It works extremely well for my hondas but when used in PE, one mentioned makan engine oil. Shell lubes that were used and vouched by so many others BUT when used in PE, it becomes one of the shittiest branded lube for our car community.

And its seems the highly rated Amsoil lube goes down the drain too in PE. Works ok (by Zen) but not perfect either, does not seems to last long (is it? Zen?). I would only use ester-based FS in high-rev engine where it would shine, used in our campro.....extremely overpriced and no added advantage vs our normal lube.
*
Not sure whether that Bardhal i used was fake or not, but my yindian father decided to save money and buy the cheapest engine oil out there.. Ended up with that shit.. at around 2k ended up changing back to Magnatec.. That time i was a noob in differentiating fake oil all..

The AMS Oil i used, during the start its very good, but it blackens too fast.. And at around 7-8k mileage it becomes quite heavy like HX7 and starting up the engine takes some effort. furthermore the oil was 5W-30, so its technically suppose to be better at its end of life compared to 40 viscosity oil at its start and mid life.

As for makan minyak i did see some negligible drop in oil volume.. And its either 30viscosity oil is not suited for our engine or AMS oil is not giving proper protection, my tappet sounded very loud during idling and even louder when engine accelerates under load. Thats signs of thin filming of oil to protect the contact areas..

From what i researched out, newer engines to make them emit lesser emissions, they tighten the gap between the cylinder and the walls, and they add in extra oil rings along the piston to reduce engine exhaust blowby and also increase compression ratio to churn out more power.. Newer engine designs have a centrifugal effects where the petrol injected in will create a rich area near the spark plug so that it ignites easily and lean around the edge of the pistons. so overall they can maintain a leaner fuel ratio while maintaining engine smoothness.. thumbup.gif

Our campro, semua ini technologi pun tarak.. Hamchoi satu enjin cam-tak-pro plus air runner made out of china mali punya plastic.. No wonder our engines are only Euro 2/3 engines..

So end of story is recommend u all to use 40 viscosity oil and get oil that are more durable against engine blow-bys.

Make one after my car come back from hospital. I sent in the car this morning.

Also gave handed them the Liqui-Moly and Ceratec. Hope they put it in correctly. I am putting faith with them biggrin.gif

Edit: Oh shit, I saw the service slip, it says for 5000KM service, X1R??? Wtf is this, I don't need it
*
Liqui- Moly engine oil contains additives + Ceratec additives + X1-R additives.. Ended up engine overflow with additives and dont have any engine oil to run on as base..hahaha...

so in long term its good lo
*
Its good when u install it even before the 1k service lah.. IF u go install after the 1k service, 60% of the benefit gone ady.. ended up then whats the point of spending it for the balance 40%..

QUOTE(Cavino @ Jun 12 2012, 03:57 PM)
Theoretically, yes, its good. Practically, no, it does not help the user much but help the seller a lot. Gimmick item, free cash for the seller..

The most metal shaving comes from the 1st 1K when its new. That is why its necessary to change lube and filter at 1K mileage. The next 4k, there is still quite some partically shaved from the bore wall, etc. Thats is why IMO, its recommended to change at 5K service (4K mileage). After that, its normal micro particle shaving that happens normally to all engine, the filter can do its job as usual. With the 1K, 5K oil filter change, Magnacrap is actually not necessary at all as oil filter will do its job for filtering those crap for the 1st 2 short service interval.

Do note some other more advance car makes, does not require 1K mileage lube change. Their tight and high tolerance manufacturing process minimize these shaving and it was usually done at the factory (lube change to drain most initial metal particles) before delivering to customer. These manufacturer does not require lube change at 1K and maybe only require 1K service check to ensure everthing runs well.

Unfortunately our Proton still using inefficient old tech and cost saving manufacturing process and pass the bucks to the customer where customer pay for it at 1K.
