Lots of reviewers did not even bother testing non CFE version due to extreme lack of power (heavy body, same camtakpro engine, etc). CVT will help but not by much coz the torque is just not sufficient (can live with it, but no power). CFE Preve is the only Preve that should have been driven due to the massive mid torque gain of the turbo, other version are mainly catering for those that cannot afford CFE but still want to drive Preve.
So get CFE and don't bother with non CFE version. At least Paul Tan's reviewers mentioned that asking his friend if worth it to try (since his friend tested the non-CFE). Friend mentioned, don't bother trying, not worth it.
Dun forget he is using mineral oil with extra friction and less additives.
Haha...it might be in theory but I don't think using mineral really affects the crank starting. I've been using mineral for my prev gen cars, all starting well during morning, engine sound is another matter when using FS or mineral at early start. Damage to piston, bore wall damage at initial start might be difference between mineral and those extra start protection lube such as FS, magnatec and now Havoline (no way to prove it tho).
In general, mineral still ok at our weather coz there's really no big difference between semi and mineral, FS is another story.
So my conclusion is there is a problem somewhere. Lube should not matter on crank starting unless its on supercold weather where the W in front of lube codes matters.
