you are right, I'm concerned too about the strong brake force, cause  I have been gone thru numerous tire lock experience and it ain't feel safe at all.

Perhaps I should look at braided hose first. If changing, does rear drum brake need to change as well, or just front disc brake???

If they can close the grille for better aerodynamics without compromising cooling, why put a grille in the first place?

with ard rm1.2k, what 17" tyres i can get? i dun bother bout noise... focus more on grip... wad will u recommend?

1.2K can get him 2 17" tyres....other 2 have to go ppl house at night and borrow 2 tyres from their car...permanently.

Aiyo why have to clean yourself, superlazy ppl like me will continue using stock filter. Might not have maximum performance but then again, throttle body performance will take much longer to deteriorate thus sort of gaining much more consistent performance over long term. For drop in, max performance initially, then wash, etc. However performance deterioration from dirty throttle body will gradually makan into the performance gain. Thats my 2-cents only.

Stock filter, change every 10K instead of 20K, best filteration and adequate air flow. No air flow block coz change at 10K before it get the change to clog up impairing airflow. I think that would give better consistent performance that drop in over long term.

As for the price, its abt RM18-RM20 for stock filter. Hit 100K milage only RM180 to RM200. In theory drop in like Simota will last as long as the car, it is true but as with all types of filters, after longer term usage, there will be a LOT of persistent dirt sticking permanently there thus sort of impair part of the air-flow, some more have to clean yourself, then WAIT for it to dry. Knocking out dirt like what Zen do will do as well but worse persistent dirt sticking over long term.

For stock filter, it is slightly more costly in long term BUT garanteed clean and balanced performance over 10K period, then change a new one, back to same initial balance non-impaired air flow performance. Less than a minute job changing each time.

For short term, probably yes. In the long term, you gonna see lots long hand tail problem. Makes you think why violence in the first place.

i clean my WORKS filter with plain water. Then dry it using air gun. bad method?

the back portion looked quite ok.the damage of your car does not suggest that it has spun 4 times. bagus la structure persona.

Added on July 11, 2012, 4:19 pmactually..the engine was intact..the front was intact..the car still can move even without front right wheel....they had to removed the bumper since theres no hole on the front panel for them to tarik my car..(the bumper hole is just a decoration only..poor proton..haiz.)

becaues of the impact..the tyre badly damage..koyak..hancur..and got some holes....i checked my tyre..they're okay..since i was travelling from kelantan that day..and already travel 350km that day..

bumple looks okay on outside....inside.. the inside one all crumpled..have to ketul2 body....

So far, 59k kms, as good as new.. Hehe..

i want to instal the thing..forgot dy whats its name..EMP..piggyback something..has been eyeeing on that thing to install on my persona since you first post it..but too bad currently my car in workshop because of accident..and have to fork out a few k on some modification..
ps: best price please..after raya i go install..one more thing..is there any differences between this piggyback and works piggyback?
