A preacher without its flock is no preacher....I was trampled badly...hehe...
Unfortunately the one I preached to never seems to respond. One who responded to seems to think he had better idea on lube weight, so I malas liao...unlike here, daring to try anything to see which one actually perform better. Even prove me wrong after trying...haha...maybe new car, sayang.
lol.. whats the post number? I go read and see.. Then let me exercise my sarcasm muscle or blast them back..

One thing I ALWAYS like to laugh abt Preve is its start button module...I tot engine start button are supposed to SIMPLIFY start process. Open door, seat in car with transponder in pocket, just press start button. ONE STEP to start car.
Our usual start is 2 steps process, insert key and turn.
Preve superbly high tech start process.....insert KEY (wtf), step on brake (I think), then press start button....3 steps....is that not being regressive. Even if no need step brake (if I'm wrong), still 2 process AND actually take longer than conventional method....ie..insert key and IMMEDIATELY turn to start.....PREVE method...insert key, then HAVE to lift the hand and move to START BUTTON. Also start button has higher chances of malfunction then the tried and tested conventional key start method..
I don't get it..
but the preve key fob is located just right beside the button.. so technically its insert the key fob and press the button while the leg automatically press the brakes.
But but PE also got start button what.. insert and turn key then press button to start.. Either way the button is super impressive to impressing girls who sit my car..
Mine whole button got light somemore..

Hi there..

Ok

, I did not know that....it seems Preve start button steps even worse than I thought....question is why implement this feature that does not help in anyway for a modern car but actually makes it worse...
Its actually a premium feature lah.. it makes the car looks premium mah.. Customer wants it, Proton have to give it loh..

But honestly, preve is of a different class, bigger seat, more spacious, better sound insulation, etc. If you get H-Line, I understand lar, but b-line insulation not very good ler, even M-Line AND h-Line insulation makes quite a big difference between them. Brake pump of B and M line also not up to par vs H-Line.
So downgrading purchase option from Preve to PE-B-M line does not makes sense.....although if you urgently need car then no choice. Most PE problem already solved. Those still there are minor only. Currently the only problem I got with my PE is a bit of dashboard rattling, all previous issue causing headache solved by itself or manually.
Otherwise, I would wait a year or 2 for either SE or FL to appear then buy then...
Not exactly. with RM2k, im able to insulate PE way way better than Preve. Using STP gold for 4 doors, STP vibratron for the floor board and STP Mastic for insulation for all 4 fenders. THe car will sound super premium. THen another RM100 for wind noise insulation bu buying the D rubber thingy to stick around the doors.

Actually is insert key fob -> press button with brakes done already.
They came up with the process to see if they can avoid the OWV issue.
EDIT : TBH, I also dunno why Proton dun do it like Forte, no need to insert key fob

What about the OWV issue?
Forte those keyless start needs slightly expensive transmitter.. Preve have to cut cost..
