i was in the market for a mirrorless camera and i did quite a bit of researches since nex-3/5 and pana GF1 were popular, and i find the saturation problem common for many sony cameras, even the DSLR my friend used. also i find it's common to see the contrasty outputs, very often when viewing shots from Sony cameras i'll have to crank my laptop display all the way up to see the details in the dark areas. hmm.gif

I find that smaller sensored cameras with IS is less sensitive to shake.

This one shot with XZ-1, 1.6 sec handheld with me leaning against railing.

The IS really increase the creativity options and increase its usefulness as a carry everywhere camera!

Anyplace already has the NP-BX1 and the BC-TRX and what's the price around any idea I think I will get it together with the battery too very very soon haha.

If you are willing to pay for the RX100's asking price

and/or

You don't already have an enthuasiast compact bought in the last 2 years.

Yes but this is a "pocketable" camera. Not a mirrorless so it caters for different segment of user.

want to be simple and able to shot anytime but without compromise on quality, the RX100 suits my need i dunno about others but this

I was just purchased from them as well RM2290 with the camera + the Sony LCJ-RXA Jacket Cover +8GB Class 4 Sony SD Card +Cheapo Screen Protector... very nice deal, the jacket is awesome!
