try to ask can it be 1 to 1 exchange a not or you can live with it.

Just over 7 days 1 to 1 exchange period, else may demand from the shop you brought.
According to Samsung LCD warranty policy as stated in their website, dead pixel policy for AMOLED is 3 pixels or more, but you may try your luck to ask SC see whether they allowed to change the LCD or not.

its so annoying when everytime i open up samsung default browser the screen brightness resets and change to very dark. need to manually set to desktop brightness everytime i open up

My s3 3 hour standby used 4% only..did u on your wifi, bluetooth, auto synch?

How this happened? i just set it to my desire level once only, no such reset happened

Strange problem you have there. Never faced such issues at all on mine
Suggest you do a factory reset

That is because u set it to power saving. and also there is an option about adjusting brightness in browser to save battery. Turn it off and your screen will be bright.

I had the same problem too earlier. Figured it out myself

i dont know, though default brightness is ~50% the browser is set to high power saving level everytime i loads the internet

its not in the settings, there is this brightness and colours option as you press the option button

auto-adjust screen power is disabled too.

you suggest reset and root? i want to root it later and try omega 4.1 later on

How many cycle you done full charge then full empty and full charge again?

Mine: 3 hours 3% used, off wifi, off gps, off bluetooth and off power saving. Mobile data off by JuiceDefender.

Have u untick the auto brightness on browser setting?
Or maybe your power saving is on

Ic..Is Juice Defender really effective? Planning to try it out..

All possible juice drainer has been off etc wifi , gps , auto sync , auto refresh all under manual.
The cell standby is on the high side. Which I believe the main culprit.

I feel JD enabled makes battery drain even faster lol. Now I try hsdpa and Hsupa off, let's see how cell standby with that off .

Just got a unit of Marble White. Register me please! I bought from a shop in Bintulu here. A lil bit higher price but what the hell, i cannot wait any more days to lay my hand on this beauty or else i have to wait for another month to be back to KL.
