QUOTE(futra @ Nov 7 2014, 05:31 PM) Well, I lives in Seksyen 5, Kota Damansara. I saw some forummers posted their speedtests at their location far more than me. 137Mbps in Terminal One, Seremban and 117Mbps in Pantai Dalam, KL.I guess celcom's speed is becoming more higher and better nowadays |

QUOTE(adiyon84 @ Nov 20 2014, 09:35 PM) I use iPhone 6 Plus which capable for CAT4 speed I think maybe because Maxis spectrum only have 20 Mhz quota.. And Celcom have 20 Mhz + share with Altel 10Mhz..I only saw Celcom users speedtest. Anyway, this is my speedtest results from Ookla Speedtest. ![]() This speedtests is from Sensorly.com.. ![]() Maybe thats why Celcom can have faster LTE speed via 2600Mhz frequency.. Just my guess ler.. |

Want-to-suggest : Crowd sourcing for Mobile Broadband Coverage.
Apps : Open Signal (Free). I encourage all 4G phones /devices owners to contribute the crowd sourcing report for the benefits of the community. It's like Waze navigation crowd sourcing app. Say, u wanna buy a house, it's better to invest on area where the 4G signal/coverage is strong. Or perhaps you are out and about in a totally new area, you can buy prepaid broadband should you travel in area where your telco does not have the realiable signal. Based on my full bar 4G signal in my phone, it is true that my current telco is the reliable 4G provider for my workplace. Hence, if i wanna jumpship to other telco, my next preference will be UMobile (just an indicator to help finalise decisions). |

By the way I saw a Celcom 4G box implemented near my house (at least >5km), any ideas if Celcom 4G LTE will become available in my area? (used OpenSignal and still no 4G) (I don't get it, why none of those carriers will implement 4G LTE at Sabak Bernam District while it is only >100km away from KL?) QUOTE(coolstore @ Jun 6 2012, 12:13 PM) 1) Maxis (getting 20MHz) 2) Celcom (getting 20MHz) 3) Digi (getting 20MHz) 4) U-mobile (getting 20MHz) 5) P1 (getting 20MHz) 6) YTL (getting 20MHz) 7) Redtone (getting 20MHz) 8) Asiaspace (getting 10MHz) 9) Puncak Semangat (new comer in mobile data field) (getting 30MHz) P1 & YTL is going to run TDD-LTE, whilst the rest to run FDD-LTE. Joint effort: telcos sharing base station or band spectrum ========================================== 9 telcos with fierce competition? That may not really happen. It is known that some telcos 'tie up' already to share base station (RAN - radio access network) among them to reduce cost. Maxis <> U-mobile Celcom <> Digi * The above 'alliance' quite the same line up as sharing 3G station now. ** Redtone, Asiaspace, and Puncak Semangat are expected to join either alliances. |
