can help me? been using y480 freeDOS for a few days. but I have a bit problem with the wireless connection. very unstable. sometimes fast but sometimes oso slow or just kept dc. my bro using his laptop (DELL) is fine and got 4 bars. me at same place only 1-2 bar/s. anyone facing the same problem? know any fix for this? which driver should I update? can help give me link to newest one?

Anybody notice that the graphic switching is abit weird. If the system goes to HD4000 then even when i start a game, it wont switch back to nvidia GC. I will need to restart the computer then its ok again. 

But i notice most of the time intel graphic wont be used even though i only surf the web or use microsoft word. Is there a better driver that allows more fluent switching between graphic card? 

Using the one given in the CD. Which beta driver is better?

I think mSATA much more sxpensive than SSD rite?

Y don't change to SSD since SSD will give much faster than mSATA + HDD

actually the heat is come from HDD as well... thats y ppl put SSD in the middle and move HDD to ODD port... which is opposite part of the GPU/CPU.

CPU heat + GPU heat + HDD heat -> make the left and middle of the board hot...

CPU heat + GPU heat -> make the same area less hot & HDD heat will heat a bit the board on the right side...

only?? you mean its expensive or cheapskate??? lolz

using 304.79 now. Dont really see the effects of optimus, as i have the GC widget i still see the Nvidia card running instead of HD4000  The experience is not as seamless as i thought 
The thing is the dedicated graphic card is already running no matter what i do, even when in idle. From what i read there is no direct way of manually switching the GC's

hye, im new here, just bought my y480 past 2day. what makes me curious is why my windows experience index im only got 5.0 rating on aero desktop performance. is it normal?? btw, gt650m n 4gb 1600mhz standard spec.

i dun mean the Ethernet controller... i mean the wifi.

when i open Device Manager, under Network adaoters got 3 listings:

Atheros AR8161/.......Ethernet controller
Broadcom 802.11n Network Adapter
Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adaptert

when i firts used this lappy on last Saturday, the WiFi worked, but now can't detect my wireless anymore, only on cable can.
