yes, download the gpu from lenovo u will get higher rating but lagging. use other benchmark instead of windows. not very accurate

Since price difference between a 1600 and 1333 is about 20,which makes it a total saving of around rm40.

u2 will fit the y480 perfectly however..if i get a 15" notebook in the future,i cant use the u2 anymore and will have to get another cooler..
u3 will be future proof but it might be too big for y480...

i thought the fans are the same?just an extra one fan in the u3..Im also worried about the size difference when using y480 and u3...

Its normal thinking alot, I am the same too    I own the U2 but I feel the fans are weak so maybe U3 is better from the specs  Im going to put a normal desktop casing fan soon which is more powerful 

we don't  even know what next in the future lol...

I am gonna get Y580 today. Any reliable and source with lowest price to recommend?

I got mine (Y580 FHD) from Mid Valley few days ago. Totally rocks and gaming out of the box is fuss free. Not sure why but the 1TB 5400RPM is a little sluggish compared to my work laptop (also spinner HDD). It takes awhile before I could even start a browser.

Am now considering of getting a mSATA ~60GB or more for use as a Windows boot drive. Don't think the new Y580 supports Intel SRT (only HM76 chipset). Any recommendation or advise (for or against)?

Caddy bay is a good move, SSD is a must! Once you've tried SSD, you will want to store everything in it
