Does anybody know/remember the part serial number to be replaced to get rid of the brrr sound when u hit a pothole...sending my car to be serviced tomorrow and hoping to replace it.

I read abt it earlier but cannot find it.

FYI my car which was bought in Aug 12, has clocked, 30k on the odo..and so far has changed the left rear lights and front headlamps under warranty. Still loving the car though...

Anyone notice there is some rusting on the surface of turbo unit for CFE engine.?

i getting my loan approval. should be coming in another 2 weeks time. welcome!

The rust is normal but your car seem like they keep stock out door on the grass land where lotsa humidity.... if u open the turbo housing i think more rust.... can take the cover out and clean with wd40

Will it void the warranty if i open the cover?

Cover i think ok.... no marking..... coz u are not modify mah... if they see and ask u screw them say the thing loose so u tighten hahahaha sure they dun ask u again

Depend on luck. I got my EB CFE on tuesday, and next day i have to send it back to SC because of oil leak on VVT compartment. But now its solve.

FOR NEW BATCH,Proton should be settle all the common problem/defects. like can't start,aircond,brake light,OCV,alignment....etc..
IF the Problem stil exist, speechless...

Unlucky for me, new model Exora Bold Standard CFE 2013. Oil leak from VVT compartment. huhu

check under carriage and buy a few can of antirust spray and spray it since it is new car....

standard rm69k, save that 11k do other stuff mah...hehe

that rust, u didnt notice when take car? if inside cover cant say la, i also thinking how to open the turbo cover when checking car. that day i asked the SA, he dunno how to open...zzz....

any recommended brand? just spray it all the metal part is it?

I got my car in end of Dec 2012. Batch Nov 2012. Here is what I found about the jerking/engine about to die when you put into reverse gear...

SA told me to wait untill air bag light turn off before I start the engine. One day I was rushing, so put in the key, & start it straight away before the air bag light turn off. Put in reverse... & it the engine start semput2.
So I turned the engine off, take the key out, put back in... & wait for air bag light to turn off. After that put in reverse gear, it's back to normal.

I guess the engine software or engine management system need sometime to load before you can start the engine... just my 2 kupang
