No. Better go buy external battery pack OR keep a charger everywhere u go (in car, office, home etc.) Its more efficient then rooting and using custom rom.

i already root my phone. love the titanium backup.

fyi, i'm using sun lobal 1850 batt also yoobao 11200 ext charger.
my screen always on 10%. just data always on, wifi only at home. seldom use gps, seldom call with this phone,
my cpu set to 1000 (just to see save batt o not) ..

just install juice defender and see for few days ..  then i post here the battery graph usage ..

my method and some necessary apps:
-UC and UV range 200-800 (800, 825, 850, 925, 925, 950, 950 (with fluxi of coz)
-set radio 3G (browsing speed is acceptable. not sure for you)
-brightness 15%-25% (my eyes got no problem with this)
-install Autostarts. and disable unnecessary process
-install BetterBatteryStats monitor apps that currently drain you battery
-install SystemApp Remover.. Uninstall and freeze unnecessary app
-disable backlight, dial pad touch tones, touch sounds, screen lock sound, vibrate on touch
-set fixed IP for wireless connection
-windows animation scale and transition scale 1x only
-disable play store notifications

compare ur battery life while turn it on and turn it off. your choice... BBS shows it all

@nehalem: i noticed that my messaging never rings or shows notifications, but the apex launcher there numbering for its icons if got message. you have any idea? i ad enabled notifications but i never shows.

on the side note, samsung officially denies of acquiring nokia.

Dude, just install BBS and turn on your screen lock sound. see how much consumption for AudioOut_1 : 1013 in your BBS. Dun play any mp3 or else it will mix up the process between ur lockscreen sound and your mp3 .at least by disabling it, you're minimizing your battery drain.  For test purpose, put it in airplane mode. just test only a day. your choice...

My S2G is on ICS now and notice the auto focus problem , any solution to it ? Besides downgrading ?

All picture taken are blurry even in bright daylight , night scene can never any success focus.
Notice one forumer mention in earlier post that the auto focus are one of the problem after upgrade
to ICS. I tired reset the camera apps , still no good. Before ICS the camera is crisp clear even in low light.

What ROM you using got the problem? maybe you can try another ICS ROM such as Foxhoud? 

I believe u meant macro instead of mono? The focus mode is autofocus..looks like I'm the unlucky one, will downgrade fr ics. Thks for all the suggestion.

I dont really like charging bank because I wont be able to talk on the phone while charging.

How about for charging case? Will we be able to talk or type?

Because when I am charging the phone, I sometimes get a shock when touching the phone.
