2nd day after getting the Preve, went Alor Setar-Teluk Intan-Alor Setar for about 700km journey. All i can say is..the Preve performed well. Power is more than enough for some quick overtaking with 3 adults, 2 children & almost full luggage on board. No problem whatsoever. Only got some minor issues which i believe can easily solve at SC later on :
1) minor rattling sound at the back of the car 2) Angle of the windshield water spray on driver's side is too low. The water will be sprayed to the wiper arm instead of the windshield No tak tak, guk guk sound whatsoever for my Preve during cold start. Only that normal "ieeeeeee sound" (CVT sound i believe) a bit annoying while driving but i consider that as a small matter as long as it is normal operational sound. My wife also driving her Preve several time already..she said that the Preve suspension is softer than my Forte (to her liking) & driving height is also high (which she like also). She prefer the Preve's seat as compared to my Forte's seat coz the seat snug the body well (she said my Forte leather seats is rather slippery..lol)  However, she also a bit annoyed with the initial sluggishness & engine sound especially when accelerating & when decelerate. Normal cruising sound is acceptable. In this case she said, the Forte is more smooth, refined & got better pick up |

Happy Sunday Morning Guys..
 Reporting in from Kemaman, Terengganu. Currently my White Knight is in SC for her first 1K service.. But damn 1330KM edy.. Wuu :sad: However, here's some of the things I managed to gather for my 1st service: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « My Father in Law serviced his Saga BLM here thus recommended this SC to me. Unfortunately, this would be the last for me. One more thing, found out later that this SC is not only NOT Service Centre, but Authorized Service Agent On the other note, I'm so sorry for being a busy human being these 1-2 weeks. I have no idea where to send my car for servicing. When I was complaining about alignment, SA refer me toan authorized service Centre. The lady in Proton uniform took my remote and snap the key out then go looking where to insert so that she can record the odometer. I quickly snatch the remote and do it myself for her. Then she called a damn sweaty and dirty mechanic to test drive my car. I quickly open car boot and bring out my coolmax cushion for him to sit on. But his hands are full of grease. Then he repeatedly press the button for 5 second to start the car until I asked him to get out and let me do the test drive. He say he knows but forgotten how to start a CFE. There he goes dirtying my front passenger seat bcoz the cushion is on my seat. His greasy hand touching everywhere leaving black marks and sweat. After the test drive he told me alignment job is not available here. They usually drive to a tyre shop 2km away. Damn. I kick him out and request for my service book back. And force them to put a note on my job sheet that nothing has been done. It was a hot afternoon and their workshop has no shades.I was sweating like hell in my office attire and nothing was done in that 1 hour. I am not going back there again. My SA ask me why.  |
