Finally, after fucuking the iCare again thru phone this morning, got some quick action by Proton. My SA called me just now saying that they already got chassis no for my car & the car should arrive in 3-4 days. Perhaps by Monday next week can get the car already. Unfortunately, i will go outstation from tomorrow until Thursday next week. So only able take the car on Thursday afternoon then. But anyway..i can sleep well after this knowing that the car will arrive next week.

Just sms my SA regarding the chassis no. He said my chassis no is 47xx..can consider that as a new batch right though the latest chassis no i heard is 5xxx?

Good enough then. Hopefully most of the initial issues already solved by this batch...

Finally, after almost 2 months 3 weeks of waiting, i received the car yesterday. Kindly update me in the owners list.

All working as expected except i cant play mp3 using USB thumbdrive. Tomorrow will try another thumbdrive for confirmation. The initial sluggishness is still there..need to rev above 1.5k rpm for the car to actually move at an appropriate pace. The car will have an urgency to accelerate when i floored the pedal however.

By the way, my steering audio buttons did not light up at night (when i turn on the headlight). Is it the same with others?

Thanks bro. Just got the car @ late yesterday. Maybe need several days of driving before i can make any conclusion about the car

Tested again this morning to play mp3 with another thumbdrive. It works perfectly fine Seems like this player was unable to read my ultraspeed USB thumbdrive in which my Forte player able to read it @ high speed. Anyway, small matter...

My Forte audio & cruise control buttons on the steering wheel got light maa..that's why i ask for clarification from other Preve owners whether Preve got it or not

2nd day after getting the Preve, went Alor Setar-Teluk Intan-Alor Setar for about 700km journey. All i can say is..the Preve performed well. Power is more than enough for some quick overtaking with 3 adults, 2 children & almost full luggage on board. No problem whatsoever. Only got some minor issues which i believe can easily solve at SC later on :

1) minor rattling sound at the back of the car
2) Angle of the windshield water spray on driver's side is too low. The water will be sprayed to the wiper arm instead of the windshield

No tak tak, guk guk sound whatsoever for my Preve during cold start. Only that normal "ieeeeeee sound" (CVT sound i believe) a bit annoying while driving but i consider that as a small matter as long as it is normal operational sound.

My wife also driving her Preve several time already..she said that the Preve suspension is softer than my Forte (to her liking) & driving height is also high (which she like also). She prefer the Preve's seat as compared to my Forte's seat coz the seat snug the body well (she said my Forte leather seats is rather slippery..lol) However, she also a bit annoyed with the initial sluggishness & engine sound especially when accelerating & when decelerate. Normal cruising sound is acceptable. In this case she said, the Forte is more smooth, refined & got better pick up

Yeahh..me wait about 2 months 3 weeks. Almost giving up also. But at a very last week of waiting, SA mentioned that they already got the chassis no & the car will arrive in 3-4 days. So i settled down & wait for the car to come. But one thing i must say bro..the car is worth the wait
