I read somewhere those mesh/textile riding jackets are more for protecting the rider from abrasion/road rash while the armor for impact . Maybe save it and buy an armor next time

The only good protection against road rash and abrasion is leathers. but leather is feckin hot if ride whole day, thats why i thought of armour + mesh combo.
